Wife's PC is running Windows 10 and pop ups / ads are choking it to death. Figured I'd come to the Hive Mind and see what everybody else is using.

Thanks in advance,

AKASL

For all of Windows, or just in a browser?  Browser, uBlock Origin is to my knowledge the best available right now.  AdBlock plus went downhill long ago.  Whole computer, I'm not knowledgeable enough to really comment, but it won't be as easy as downloading a browser plug in.

I use Ghostery + uBlock Origin on Firefox, haven’t seen an ad in years.  I use Norton Security for an all around antivirus/antimalware

I tried it after Windoze 7 went EOL.

Windoze 10 has aids.
And it's like trying to navigate an Android cell phone.
If I wanted it to work like a cell phone, I wouldn't have bought a computer, I'd just use the fucking phone.

Build a pie hole Pi-Hole.
Combination of these will kill the vast majority of ads.

uBlock for individual computers
Pi-Hole for the whole network (IoT, iPads, Phones, Roku, etc...)
