I just picked up a 2014 1500 4x4 outdoorsman loaded with 80K for 20,000. Hemi with 8-speed and 3.92 gears. Super clean with factory liner and tri-fold tonneau cover, nav, folding mirrors etc. Original sticker was in glove box and it listed at 47K. Can't afford new. oil changed every 5K, it's a keeper

Certain trucks have always been retarded.
I sold my ‘99 Superduty 7.3L back in 2014 for $2200 more than I paid for it years earlier with almost 100k more miles on it. I did take great care of it and fixed any problem it had, but still, the only loss I ate was the cost of a set of tires. I wonder how much my 2006 Silverado 3500 with an LBZ is worth now, even with 400k miles. Body is rust free too. |

2018 with 14k miles on it. So they leased it for three years and didnt put 5k miles per year on it. Kelly blue book was 55k. They sold it to him for 46k. Im seeing 2018s with 30,40,50k miles going for 50+. He got lucky. Loves the new yukon. |

had a buddy tell me yesterday that he took his clapped out diesel chevy to carmax with 275,000 miles on it and they offered him $15,000 and before he took it someone lurking around took him aside and offered him $2000 over the carmax offer so he went down the street with him. Turns out he was a flipper/dealer type guy and they did the transaction in the parking lot of a walmart. The buyer said carmax had been chasing him off over and over and he kept changing his appearance and coming back. Sketchy stuff, but just an example of used values run amuck

Fuck yeah they have a cult following. I don’t understand the arfcom FJC hate. They are meant to mod and wheel. A wrangler looks like an old model T with no lift and small tires. Same thing with the original FJ40. I grabbed this pic today off an FJ board to illustrate my point. This is what Toyota was building the FJ for, and why they are so popular now. |
