I don't really need one anymore, my samsung TV remote turns on my receiver when I turn the TV on. I'm sure if I looked I could figure out how to turn on and set the source to TV audio.

The beauty and utility of the Elite is that it is a Wifi remote so you can control components in a media center that aren't visible to an IR remote. It also has macro function capability of course, can control other smart devices in the house such as your living room lighting, etc, and the ergos of the Harmony remotes are hard to beat. |

I haven't used a universal remote in probably a decade.
So much of the functions I do can be merged or done on a tablet, I never bothered programming the old one as I bought new stuff. Couldn't even tell you where it is. |

I loved my harmony way back when
 but smart tv's, streaming devices, and apps that do the same thing pulled the market out from under them. It was a great solution to a problem that has all but gone away. |

I know of one person that actually has a stereo/home theater on his main TV and he's the one that told me about this.
Other than that, I don't anyone else that this will effect.
