I just stopped in the grocery store today, The prices were outrageous enough that I'll just live off of the pantry for a few weeks.

That's how you know it's the greatest economic recovery of all time, led by the most popular - 81 million totally legitimate votes! - President of all time. Because everything costs more, and businesses can't find employees.

The salmon I buy was just at $10 in that time period. I paid $15.49 for it today.
There hasn't been a single regular item I purchase that hasn't gone up at least 10%. Most is in the 20-30% range. I'll have to take some pics of the receipts from then vs. now since I'm weird and keep grocery receipts. |

For the first time in decades, I blew through my monthly grocery budget already. Luckily, I'm not a tard and I have enough to cover additional grocery expenses, but Holy fuck, this isn't sustainable.

I live in a State with more cows than people, steaks in general are hella more expensive. Not like other places in the country, but where are my $2.99/lb ribeyes?!? I’m lucky to get $5.99/lb now. |

Toilet paper and paper towels have more than doubled from 2019. My benchmark has been .50/roll TP and $1/roll PT. Now even shitty brands are that much and the good brands not on sale are even more.
I used to buy ribeye on sale once a week for $8/9 a pound and chuck eye steak for $4/5. Now chuck eye is $6-8 on sale or $9 normal and ribeye is $12 on sale and $15-18 normally. Soft drinks (not that you should drink that crap) and tea have more than doubled. Gas double. Milk and eggs… almost tripled. Only things that haven’t really gone up crazy (some but not crazy) is cheese and most produce. Shit, even the McDonald’s “value menu” practically tripled. Used to be fries, McMuffins, McDoubles, and mcchicken for $1-1.50… now I t’s “buy one for near $2 and get one for $1” at best. Fuck Biden and their phony inflation number. It’s been 30% per year on shit you NEED like gas and food for the past 3 years. And duck the flubros and doomers right along with Biden. |

Quoted: FJB Fkh F Demmunist Party View Quote You forgot to Say Fuck the republicans too. Every president has out spent the last one. Congress has continued to approve budgets. Yes I know the Dems have always seem to have a bunch of fat in the budget bills. A lot of what got us into this situation was the Covid money, and that was under T$. Trumps economy was good, but it was just forestalling the the inevitable. We have been down a dark path since the crash of 2008. |

You could steal the single ply TP from government buildings to make up the difference. People actually do that. In 2022. In America. |

8% inflation. Totally legit.
The air you breathe doesn't cost a penny more. Gotta factor that in. |

Yep, but inflation is only 8% according to pedo Pete’s administration.

Prices have always been low. Except when trump was here then they were higher.
You are a racist and should go away |

I do a grocery run every couple of weeks.
A couple of years ago $90-$100 was the norm. Last few times it has been $150-$177 This is beyond absurd. |

IMHO the cost increases we've seen are directly related to the complexity of the product and the steps to get it to the consumer. Fast food is garbage yet the average reduced portion meal costs more than a 2lb Porterhouse. |

My wife has a really lucrative side gig doing wedding cakes and such. She had to increase prices and her customers are howling bloody murder. Prices have gone through the roof. I had to remind her she made a luxury item and if people can't afford it then that's not her fault.

That and higher advertised prices... okay.
Adding on unadvertised fees/charges is BS. |

Yesterday I saw that those small Stouffers entrees like sweedish meatballs, spaghetti, etc are now $6.49..
