I have two contenders, will pick one soon. I like the integrated drawer, so I can store my wedding ring, cufflinks, tie clip, and other random shit.
Wolf Windsor 10
Rothwell 12

I can't offer advice 'cause I only own two watches, which I rarely wear:

A pocket watch, and a wooden watch (to minimize my chance of being
shocked if I accidentally ground myself out at work).

I need more watches for a watch box.  No cufflinks, either.

If it’s not on my wrist, it’s in the safe usually.

I keep everything in my Safe, but I've considered one of the Nalpak pelican cases

I just ordered the insert for a spare Pelican 1170 I have. I’ll post photos when it arrives. It will be more for travel than home storage. For travel with an additional single watch, I currently use a Pelican 1010 and a cloth wrap. They’re unsophisticated options but will take a hard drop.

Awesome! Anxious to see how it does. I've been wanting to buy one, but I just never do. Anxious to hear what you think!

I use an 1170.

Which is nice as it also fits in the safe.

Nice, and good point on the size for safe purposes. I have three 1170s. Love them. One for single pistol airline travel, one for multiple watch travel (currently with stock foam) and one for a tiny projector. Inexpensive, great size, and built to take a punch. My pelican collection is a bit out of hand…

I would eventually like to get a Molequin oval case for home storage.

In hurricane country they are a must have, even in a safe.

See below.

The crew with exception of the G-Shocks which live on top of the safe.

Top: CWC 1983 Custom / 124060 / Marathon TSAR
Bottom: Borealis Estoril / 16610 / MKII Vantage

@Finslayer83 What watch is on the bottom left? Looks just like the CWC / Omega 300

Borealis Estoril.

IMO the best SMP300 homage, even over a favorite brand of mine MKII.

I picked this one off Etsy several years ago.  Now if I could only get down to 12 watches only.

Glenor 24 slot. I’ve been very happy with it for the price. I bought some other watch pillows because my bracelet watches would be loose on the stock ones (7.5” wrist)

I decided to go with the Rothwell. It's an obvious knockoff of the Wolf. Looks nice but the quality is probably not as good. It serves my needs.

I used to use some inexpensive aluminum cases with pull and pluck that would hold 30 watches each.
Those are relegated to to storing collectible pieces that I’m not really interested in wearing, pieces that will either need restoration or I can scavenge for parts, amateur projects I work on, etc.

I also has a small pelican set up for travel.
Two 6309s, two 6105s, my 11610, my 7002, an SKX007 and an SKX173 and my H601 have all been on deployments and objectives with me.  Although only about one out of ten objectives actually involved a TIC.  And I have only been on several dozens, not hundreds of objectives like some people have racked up.

I went to some nicer boxes for watches I actually wear with some regularity.  But I rotate through too many.

So I tried a more decorate display/storage option.

I like it enough And think this will work for me.  I plan to make this one Swiss/European and make another Japanese/Asian, but Covid has this model on backorder for now.

The key roles of internet watch, gun, knife, car, off reading, etc. sites is to get that final nudge / enabling when your circle of IRL friends and colleagues is not hardcore enough to do so.
AND to provide the wife with evidence that we are “not that bad, you should see this guy.”

A year or two after I retired, a machine gun, three 6217s, two 6159s, several 6105s, some 6306s, some 6138s and 6139s, and a DRSD were sold at very high profit margins to fund her dream home / move, so I get a lot of leeway.

After months of being unavailable, the boxes finally came in and I have another on the way.  They can be placed on the stand or wall mounted like a shadow box.
