RHD, 4WD, 5-speed manual and old enough (1994) to skip all the Import limitations

Looking sharp!

I think I speak for a lot of us when I say we will miss the V8s when they are gone.

Man, I love that body style Celica Supra! The TV show "Wheeler Dealers" did one of those and it didn't look as good as yours.

Nice.

Out of curiosity.  How old are you.  My wife says I'm still 3 years away from being the right age to look at a corvette.  I laugh and say there is not age.  She say 58 is the starting age. Please prove her wrong.

Well I bought my C8 at 61. But got my C7 at 54.

I'm 58, so just in time I guess! But actually I've had other Vettes over the years, and currently have an LS swapped C4 that will be a dedicated autocross car when I finally get it finished, and a 78 Pace Car.

We really got the car for the wife, and she's only 43, so she's a little early on the Vette curve.

Well, I did an M3 vs IS500 thread a while back. I really wanted a launch edition V8 IS500, but ended up ordering a manual 6spd M3 instead. I sent my build in, but I’m still on the waiting list. I’m also on the waiting list for an M2 but don’t have a deposit down.

In the mean time, the Incognito colored launch edition IS500 popped up on cars and bids. I scored it for a killer deal (in todays market). Seems like the market has turned due to interest rates (I’m paying cash).
Our flight to Sacramento is scheduled this Thursday and the wife and I are going to drive it back via 101 and hit the Redwoods in CA, make a road trip out of it.
Looking forward to an easy to drive, V8 RWD daily.
I might still do the M3 or M2 as a track car, and get rid of my 2020 PP1 mustang, but not entirely sure - as it’s slightly built, and pretty damn fast on track. Now that I will have my V8 fix, not sure I will still need it.
We also have a Tundra/Armada/GS350 as DD’s - so the wife is slightly annoyed at adding a 5th car to the fleet right now. We’ll see.
