I’m speaking from the point of view I think most have on here (that this is even a trial is preposterous etc) and making further assumptions on political views from that; forgive me if I appear to speak for you if it is not representative of your views.
Now, maybe where we have failed is that the left (et al) knows, for the most part, we will follow to law. That assumption is not placed, or even expected, from the morons outside that courthouse or burning down towns. I wonder how bold they would still be if there was legitimate angst that KR would be forcibly removed from custody if, god forbid, he is found guilty. If they feared the very people who I would argue truly (cringe) own the means of production protesting by not distributing or delivering food and medicine to certain stronghold areas of theres. They know they can run rough-shot over us, facts be damned, because what will we do? On the other hand, that’s what separates us from them. So quite a conundrum. Again just thinking out loud, in no way was that a comprehensive or exhaustive statement (or statement of intent) vis-a-vis the means, but it’s just frustrating that they can essentially threaten to burn your town down if you’re a jury member, or mayor, or local cop, whatever, and don’t “get in line,” while not fearing much of anything from us. Anyway thoughts for Kyle and holding out sincere hope the jury is a group of reasonable people. Anyone looking at that evidence and saying “guilty” is driven by political leanings or fear of retribution. |

I suspect verdict will come back really quickly.
Even a hung jury will come to a point where they know there tis no going forward and for this crew, I'm betting the judge sends them back into deliberations for quite some time. The judge could still vacate the charges if the jury is hung... but i give that a 10% chance of happening. The problem at this point is that the Prosecution has to now go after Zelenski and crew before they can retry Kyle. That is going to be VERY fugly for him. He can't keep postponing that one and the Defense is going to use that like a club when it comes to the next trial. Defense is going to bring in LOTS of expert testimony to say that their efforts to enhance the drone footage will show that Kyle NEVER held his rifle up as the Prosecution spoke of. 2nd bite at the apple RARELY works out for the Prosecution. (like 1 in 5) |
