"Joseph I. Lieberman, the doggedly independent four-term U.S. senator from Connecticut who was the Democratic nominee for vice president in 2000, becoming the first Jewish candidate on the national ticket of a major party, died March 27 in New York City. He was 82.
The cause was complications from a fall, his family said in a statement." left cold - https://www.washingtonpost.com/obituaries/2024/03/27/joe-lieberman-senator-vice-president-dead/ |

Don't worry his vote in the presidential election will still be counted.

That guy was somewhat of a moderate compared to most dems these days.

McCain was his first choice as running mate. Here's some more fun trivia courtesy of the AuVgust source that is Wikipedia. In July 2022, Lieberman became one of the founding members of a group of U.S. business and policy leaders which shares the goal of engaging constructively with China and improving U.S.-China relations |

I remember Postal 2 included "Liebermode" as the easiest difficulty mode to poke fun at Lieberman's crusade against violent video games. He also voted for the 1994 AWB. The best part about living in the shithole that is The People's Republik of Konnecticut is I'll be able to piss on his grave in ARFCOM's honor.

Didn't he criticize Chuckie Schumer over his Israel comments, about 10 days ago?

I just saw him interviewed on TV maybe last week or the weekend.

Wow, I did not know he was sick, or realized he was that old. Man time flies.

Conservatives balked at the idea given Lieberman's voting record and McCain's health record. Somewhere in there McCain met Palin, and I think the old guy wanted to squeeze those melons and go motorboating. |
