Thanks fish, you really didn’t have to do that. I’m just happy it all worked out for ya, glad I could help out a fellow Jeep guy. I really appreciate it. If ya ever need anything else, shoot me an IM.

I just put the lift wheels and tires on the wife's jeep recently. Now the spare tire is on too.

@Boomer
Would you mind posting a pic where I can see what the tan seats look like with the black interior?  I can seem to find a good pic.
I do really like the blue.

I saw something on another forum that said that Jeep is offering  a Purple and a grayish color called Earl in 2023 that looks kind of similar to Fords Cactus color
I wish they kept the Gobi….

Welp, my first Bantam Heritage Fest is in the books.

I drug the factory skid plates all the hell over, bashed a cross-member, bent my tailpipe, and scored the living fuck out of the barrels of all four wheels, but I still had a blast. I stuck to the Blue trails and was still amazed at what I was able to do with my Jeep. Hopefully by the time next year's festival rolls around I'll have enough confidence in my abilities (still a total n00b now) to try the Black trails

Forgive the bad resolution. This is a screenshot of a Youtube video of me working Beasley Knob in N GA.

Had not even started the first trail yet, and had to winch. The obstacle was so steep to start, that observers thought I'd thrown my wife out of the jeep. Luckily, we always wear seat belts on trails!

Looks like Off-site Blues weren’t nearly as muddy as the On-Site trails. Made it through without any damage. This was our 4th year at Bantam.

For sure, the property trails were like a desert compared to the on-site trails. And I may have visited the mud-pit on the playground a time or three

I actually kind of like those. Got any pics from other angles?

I really like the OEM high top JK fenders, but they are not available for the 4 doors anymore.

Rough Country has lots of pics you can scroll through.  If there's something specific you'd like let me know.  The install is simple and uses existing holes for nutserts.

Ive been eyeing those fenders up myself, they look great on your rig.

Are they the same width as the stock fenders? @Seth_Livzz

Old girl doesnt look to bad for 14 years old and 163k…was thinking those fenders might look good on her.

Without measuring, they are very close to the stock width.  Which is exactly what I wanted.  I was using Smittybilt and hated how narrow they were.  They're advertised as UV protected, so we'll see how quickly they fade.  For the price I'm not too concerned.

You don't want the All Terrain BFG's sticking out they throw rocks like a eight year old boy . On our last jeep the flying rocks broke both mirrors , dented the hood and took most the paint off the under side . We picked up a newer model once the BFG's are spent going to try something else .

They already stick out a little, I haven’t any issues, and is my third set of BFG’s on it. Those RC fenders look darn close to stock width, maybe an inch difference, l think I could live with that.

The JK factory flare covers more tire than the TJ/LJ flare . The LJ had 10.5" tires before the wider ones in the picture they did most of the damage. Living on a gravel road doesn't help with the paint issues

I just measured my RC fenders at 9.5 inches at the widest point, near the LED marker.

still trying to figure out how to post pics after upgrading my membership....

Long and short of it I bought my old xj back after selling it 12 years ago. The kid hardly drove it and it sat most of that time. Body rot was hiding in pretty much every orifice of this thing so I decided to get a clean body and start over since it ran and drove after a little bit of work. This has been about a 2 year project once i got it back on the road after the body/driveline swap. Tweaking setup and changing things 22yr old me didn't care about. Last picture was taken yesterday after getting AC system plumbed up and washing the exterior. I stepped backwards with a few mods as my wife loves to drive this thing so on road safety was more important than off-road prowess, though its still a sleeper. No more front locker or 7" lift and 35s is the biggest difference. Just finished chopping and capping rear quarters and did the rockers, waiting for frame stiffners and I'll add 2x6 box steel as rockers tied in. Paint looks shiny but its got a wild patina. Its my resto-mod and mostly a fun second vehicle vs crawler like it was. This one was too clean to destroy, though I am getting the itch to build a trail rig now that this one is close to finished. Never thought I would have restored one of these shit boxes but here I am.....shaking my head lol.

2000 xj Body/trans
1996 h.o motor
231 sye
D30hp/8.25 29spl
4.56s/rear powertrax
4" Frankenstein lift
33x12.5s MT ATZ
Custom bumpers and rack
Uh huh......you get the jist.

Excuse the garage pic.  Just picked up this 1952 CJ-3A.

Runs pretty good for a 70 year old engine. Going to overhaul the suspension and fuel system. Retrofit disc brakes up front and some 7.00x15 NDTs are on the list.
