Would not recommend using the full auto selector. If your disco malfunctions for any reason and it happens to slam fire, you could get dinged

What's the worse could happen?
In a land where putting a dot close to where the auto sear pin would be makes it a machine gun I'm sure it will be ok.

A year or two ago I ordered an SOLGW Blaster LPK from a vendor that is highly respected on arfcom.  When I opened it up to build out my lower, the parts didn’t look right. Pretty quickly figured out that instead of getting the standard Blaster LPK (as labeled) the kit had full auto parts.  I looked around on the internet and never found a good answer on legality.  When contacted, the vendor quickly refunded the cost, shipped me a replacement LPK from a different manufacturer for free with a shipping label to return the FA LPK. I don’t know if it was just excellent CS or if it was concerned about legalities as well.

Federally legal own, illegal to install without paying the toll.

I was told that storage of these items away from receivers capable of hosting such items would help isolate the constructive intent possibility if you are not a 07/SOT

possibly illegal under state laws, in WA there's a prohibition on "machine gun parts", which is vague enough some vendors wouldn't ship anything MG related to WA .

Assuming you are referring to the auto sear OP?

As there are many parts in that listing.

NO,   NO,  NO.

If you own the auto sear,  and no rifle to attach it to,  you're OK.

Owning both gets into a shady legal area... which BATFE will willingly interpret it's own way.

Huge difference in supply:demand in 1990 vs 1985, or even earlier when we thought we could buy them without a tax stamp.

Highly doubt they'd ship it thru the commie curtain.

If I have a legal shotgun laying on my work bench next to a hacksaw, is that constructive intent?

Gambling on what the ATF may do is risky at best.

Ask the agents who slung up Randy Weaver.

I am not a lawyer and I did not stay at a Motel 8 last night....

Bet the answer is - you can own it as long as you do not have an AR....

If you have an AR it shows intent....

Of Course - YMMV

Red

Hell I think that I even schooled the guy that is making the forced reset triggers - he did not know that they are not legal in Florida thanks to Gov Scott and the Parkland Shooter....

I think there is no black and white answer, I will just pass..  leave it to the AFT to literally fkking make something like this a meta physics 180 IQ required math problem... PLUS, I am sure that guys  'customer list' will wind up sooner or later in the Feds hands anyways...  at the very least one day, the way this country is going, that list will be a 'visit' list..

Is $110 really the going price for an FA lower parts kit?
It starts to make the $300 for an SSF look a little less like surprise buttsex

Constructive "intent" isn't a thing.  People should stop saying it.

People always get it mixed up with Constructive possession.

I don't know if having a FA LPK would qualify as Constructive possession.  If you have a receiver which could readily accept that LPK and be converted to Full Auto, the yeah, maybe you'd be in Constructive Possession of an unregistered machinegun.

The only FA part I see on the BCM site is an ambi selector.
