I’m looking to upgrade from our base Home Depot model.
What says the hive? |

The Champion 4 was suggested some time ago. I got two and never looked
back. |
|
Did anyone save the image of Hielo's bathroom?
Seriously, though, I'm remodeling our upstairs. I'll be over here, taking notes. |

I have an American Standard elongated and raised bowl and just installed a Brondell CL950. ??

This is the best toilet you can buy. I put 5 of them in our house we built two years ago. You will never need a plunger again, regardless of what goes in it.

First world problems... it's a fucking toilet bowl. Just go buy one. Does anyone even make those round ones anymore with barely enough room for your junk not to touch the edge?
Do you study other bathroom toilets to determine if it's good enough to poop on? (Cleanliness issues aside). |
|
Previous owner had a power flush put in one of our bathrooms and I've clogged it a few times. We hated how loud it was so I found the perfect toilet. It's quiet and for 2 years I haven't been able to clog it, which is saying something. We use the extra strong tp that has clogged every toilet I've ever had. But not this one.
Kohler K-3979-0 Highline Comfort Height 1.6 gpf Two-Piece Toilet Get it. You will not regret it. I liked it so much I bought more to replace all of the toilets. |

This thread is hilariously timely for me, since we just had a half bath demo'd yesterday. Is that $560 Toto (ultramax) really worth it?
|
|
I have 4 TOTO Drake in my house. I don't own a plunger. Enough said.

Just replaced my standard builder grade toilets with Kohler Highlines. Love them. Guaranteed to never clog. But you'll have to go be poor somewhere else as they're only $168 a piece. https://www.plumbingsupply.com/images/kohler-toilet-highline-classic-k3658.jpg Edit:. One thing I noticed about the Kohler's vs my replaced toilets is the Kohler's don't swirl the contents, they suck the contents and blast it with a water jet. View Quote |

Bought a Kohler power flush or whatever it's called last year for the main-floor toilet. Haven't needed a plunger yet.
But that Toto intrigues me. I'd be interested in hearing more about it. |

Holy shit! (pardon the pun) That Drake II ADA-compliant elongated bowl is over 123,000 PHP in the Philippines. That's over USD$2K.
Looks like it's the Champion 4 for us. |

Finally!
Here is a thread I need and want. I will visit it often. |

Or, you can buy an American Standard Champion 4 and never use a plunger again. Keep small pets and children supervised around the toilet or you may never see them again. |

I've got champion 4's, they've never clogged. God knows I've tried.

This man is correct. Ultramax kicks ass. The Drake is the two-piece equivalent, but one-piece is preferred as there is no tank-gap to create odors. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Anyways, if its not sealed correctly water will leak. Pretty much the only reason to get a one piece is looks and removing the need for gaskets from tank to the bowl. |

I put in a Champion 4 and it's fine.
But I here TOTO and will likely go that next. |
