Well after watching the video Mike is aware of us.

Just got my “blem” M16A2 H&R lower. I can’t find the blem, looks great.
Can’t wait to turn it into a Gordy clone. I don’t love that resto-mod look, but I do love the retro line overall. |

The gas block is made by one of our in-house subs.
PSA used them years ago. I saw one and had them make me a run. It’s designed to cover up the whole FSB journal on the barrel. And yes, it has 3 set screws. |

Is that not some variant of a late-Vietnam era M16? I don’t care nearly enough either way to go digging through google but I’m sure I’ve seen similar uppers for special purpose scoped rifle applications from the 70s.
The triangle handguards look comfortable as fuck though. I shoot c-clamp and I bet it would fit my hand perfectly. If I hunted with a semi automatic I’d strongly consider buying this upper or one like it assuming it accomplishes what I need for twist rate, etc. But my favorite rifle is an old Bushmaster A2 from the 90s with an FSP mounted light and nothing else so my tastes clearly don’t line up with modern day doctrine. |

I think it is because I sent a few colt uppers out to get low pro gas blocks pinned and every time I suggested cutting the A2 the guys say the low pro is better
