Are they reliable? |

At that price I'll try 5 of them. |

In for 3 and a few 27 round Glock Pmags. Might be last mags I buy in this shithole.

I have 2 or 3 of them and they run fine to include in full auto. They are a bitch to load though and going to force me to get a Lula which I have never seen the need for for any other AR mag

They're fine but boy are they hard to load. They're basically big Kp31 Suomi coffin mags in 5.56. For $35 shipped I'll grab another one. Why not? |

It’s a good mag for the money. Works just as good as my surefire 60.

That's how I load all my double stack mags including AR, AK, MP5, etc |

I know of one guy who was having multiple failures with these mags. He was shooting in the lane next to me. I loaned him a PMAG and he loaded up his ammunition (same ammo he was using with the “Schmeisser” mag) and his gun ran fine.
It’s a single, anecdotal example so take it for what it’s worth. As always, YMMV. |

Gunmag warehouse is good to go. A little slow to ship but nothing crazy usually they ship within 3 business days

I’ve never had any issues with Gunmagwarehouse. They’re not my #1 source for mags (that would be DSG Arms) but when Gunmagwarehouse has a good deal, I don’t have any hesitation ordering from them.

I love the idea of 60 rounds on tap, but I'm not sure I would trust them when the SHTF and would probably end up sitting in the safe next to my Pmag drums or being a heavy range toy.
Can you tell I'm trying to talk myself out of them? |

If you could find a chest rig to hold these bad boys you could rest your chin on them when you get tired.

Throw some calipers on that bad boy Sorry, that's an internet pic. Maybe someone who has one can measure it. The looks are a little deceiving. I think the sides bulge out a little from the front or rear dimensions. Look where the pmag actually touches the side of the Schmeisser. The base is also pretty hefty. I've read both good and bad reviews. For competition I might consider it, but for SD probably not. |

A typical pistol mag costs $30. A quad stack mag? If it is of decent quality, get some.

Quoted: I have 2 or 3 of them and they run fine to include in full auto. They are a bitch to load though and going to force me to get a Lula which I have never seen the need for for any other AR mag View Quote Careful. My LULA damaged the cases in mine because of the amount of force needed to push rounds down. It induced jamming due to the case geometry being messed up. That's not the LULA's fault. The two mags I have worked fine when loading them by hand. Surefire 60s load fine with a LULA though. |
|
I have a few. I don't trust them very much. They get more reliable with use and some graphite lube, but D60s are far, far more reliable.

Quoted: These mags have gotten cheap? Are they reliable? View Quote My 2 have been 100%. The first few times I loaded them , I got 53 or 54 rounds in them. Second time I got around 56 or 57 rounds in. After that I was able to load them to the full 60 rds. I have had zero function problems firing them through my FRT triggered rifle. If they are $40 someplace, I should get 2 or 3 more. |

I went helicopter hog hunting with mine. They worked flawlessly.
Unlike the helicopter. It crashed. |
