The reason why I'm asking here is because I want a clear opinion that isn't filled with soy and people actually know what they're talking about.
I don't know if it is moral to even look at an old Gillette razor, even though this razor was made in the very early 1960s, I would love an honest opinion. Thank you, Chris. |

I shave every day with a King Gillette DE. Think nothing of it besides what a great shave I get with it.

When you buy excellent blades for around .50 each not made by Gillette your actually hurting their bottom line.

That's what I use with persona razors. I don't even use shaving cream or lather. I take a hot shower then use hot water. Been doing this for probably 10 years now and I don't get razor burn and very very rarely cut myself. Works great and it's less mess, work, and money.
I say do it. |

I have 2 1960 adjustable fatboys. They give a nice shave and are a solid choice. Make sure the jaws are even when closed and they should last you a lifetime. I use the green astra blades. I have some feathers as well.

OP doesn't even need to use Gillette razors in it. This is like burning products made by a company that does something you disagree with well after you purchased it. Burning it doesn't hurt them, they already got your money! |

sjws are gonna be the direct cause of America's downfall. you can quote me on that!
sjws cannot stand what type of POSes they are, so they need to bring other people down because their parents took a shit and they came out. those people are the epitome of the worst generation ever and why we need to have brat camps! |

The fatboy is the finest DE razor ever produced, period. You can adjust it to a 9 for a practically open comb shave, or dial down to 5 etc for no knicks. The butterfly mechanism is great for quick blade changes and the dimensions of the whole thing slaps cheeks. Nobody in modern times can touch it, because they could never afford the tooling and still make a profit. Made today, that would likely be a $400 razor. I have gold plated ones that are still daily use and perform perfectly.
Gillette asshoe, but the Silver Blues and Platinum blades made in Russia are simply dank. Most men will never know the joy of a silver blue cutting in a fatboy over some mentholated Proraso. Then they bitch about shaving and cry to grow a beard. A clean shave is the sign of being a boss at metallurgy, vs. some shitholer with dull blades. |

Secondhand market is perfectly fine, so long as you encourage others to not buy new.
Experiment with an assortment of blades before you settle. |

I shave with a Gillette DE adjustable that I gave to my Dad for Christmas in 1966, so technically I bought it back then before all the nonsense.
I was going through some his stuff after he passed in 2015 and found it. Been using it ever since. |

Here is the problem. You can try to remain pure as possible by not purchasing from woke companies but it's absolutely futile when dealing with major corporations. If you dig deep enough, you'll likely find them supporting and donating to Democrat groups, find out the CEO is a leftists, the owners host Democrat fundraisers, and just about everything else you can imagine. We're fucked and it's something we have to deal with unless you're willing to create your own products from scratch.
Just the other day my friend was bitching about Nike and their wokeness yet he talked about buying a generator from Harbor Freight. The CEO of Harbor Freight has hosted H Clinton fundraisers in his Los Angeles home. His cheap 2 stroke generator is made in China and giving money to enemies of the US. At this point it's almost impossible to make a purchase and not support some evil cause. I'm not saying that's right but that's reality of the situation if you want to buy any non-niche mainstream product. |

I don't see how you'd be supporting them as long as you didn't give money for any new products.
