Economic and Political Context: The video highlights that gas prices have seen a record-breaking 52% increase during this midterm cycle (12:12 - 12:50). Walsh suggests that the current administration's energy policies and the ongoing support for Zelensky are exacerbating these problems (10:46 - 11:00). Potential Risks and Failed Solutions: The host warns against government-imposed export bans or price controls on fuel, arguing they would backfire by decreasing domestic production and causing shortages (20:10 - 23:40). He also discusses the depletion of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (27:48 - 28:51). Worst-Case Scenario: Citing reports from JP Morgan, the video warns that if global oil inventories reach an "operational stress floor," it could lead to severe energy shortages and economic instability (29:05 - 30:52). Walsh concludes by proposing that the government should prioritize ending the attacks on energy infrastructure and seeking alternative oil sources. Ukraine’s targeting of Russian energy infrastructure inside of Russia is just and an appropriate and necessary part of fighting Russia. Iran’s threatening and attacking of civilian commercial shipping in the Persian Gulf and through Houthi proxies in the Red Sea are illegal acts and considered war crimes. It's pretty simple isn't it. And what's more, how about maybe, BOTH are driving up fuel prices. One has been going on since 2021 and without these attacks, has the potential to continue for who knows how long. The other could have been handled completely differently. I appreciate some of Walsh's stuff, but the guy is about as agenda driven as CNN and The View. |

That’s false. They were kneeling to adjust the carpet. That is completely and utterly different than your original claim that they were kneeling for Putin himself, which is blatantly false. You then adjusted your comment. You either didn’t know what they were doing and are covering(fell for Twitter hyperbole posts) or you did know and are being disingenuous. Either one looks bad for you. Where did the Putin worshippers go!? Attached File |

In normal times Russia supplies @ 9.8 million bpd- Ukraine is messing with that. The Middle East countries affected by US action normally supply a combined @ 20.6 million bpd, not even counting the 3 million bpd that Iran normally supplies. Russian oil goes mostly to China and Europe. ME oil goes mostly to Asia, Europe and the US. You work it out.. |

You guys always fall for rhetoric, rhetoric is just that, and if you look at actions, Trump has made no attempt to stop supporting Ukraine or to end the war. He either can’t or won’t or simply doesn’t have the political capital to do so. Oh yes the "Russia would have won by now if the evil west hadn't been helping Ukraine!" line. You genuinely think it’s good optics for us to suck up to Putin while blaming Ukraine for this war? What you meant was clear. Implication of submission/reverence, full stop. Which is wrong. Facts matter even when discussing bad optics, which is where you’re trying to shift the argument now that your mistruth has been called out by more than one person. I don’t have an opinion. I don’t give a fuck about that war one way nor another. Have the last word. |

No compelling reason? What fuel do you think the Russian military runs on? ![]() Do you really think that it will stop the Russian military from getting stocks of fuels? Do you really think that Russia will fall to Ukraine? There’s literally no way Ukraine can accomplish either of those things. The only reason is to get the dems into power so that he has a chance of bringing the US directly into the war. If, by some miracle, Ukraine was able to do damage to Russian fuel production to the point that Russia was about to lose, then I think Russia would respond with WMDs. They consider this war to be existential. That’s not going to happen though. According to the video, Russia is the 2nd largest exporter of diesel fuel. They’ve been exporting energy this entire time. Those losses are not going to affect military readiness, just exports and domestic civilian consumption (if that at this point). Ukraine doesn’t have the strike capability to really do the damage that would be necessary to defeat Russia militarily. |

My point is that Ukraine cannot win and this is just a scheme to get the US directly involved as it can directly lead to the dems returning to power. As for the aggressor or not. I don’t care. I only see an attempt to get the US more involved to our detriment. And this isn’t a black and white “Russia invaded for no reason” type situation. After the color revolution, the Ukrainian government started beating their chest about joining NATO and having NATO weapons on Russia's border so they at least have a valid concern and acted no differently than any serious and substantial nation would’ve acted. |

You genuinely think it’s good optics for us to suck up to Putin while blaming Ukraine for this war? It’s standard diplomatic protocol to roll out the red carpet for a visiting head of state on an official visit. He was here to engage in negotiations. We aren’t at war with Russia and it’s generally a shitty negotiating strategy to treat someone disrespectfully when you mean to engage in negotiations with him. If Trump were to fly to Russia tomorrow I am sure the Russians would do the same thing. ETA: I am pretty sure we rolled out the red carpet for Khruschev when he visited during the Cold War. |

But you somehow have the Russian propaganda spin about their totally justified invasion etched upon your heart. lol It’s not propaganda to admit that powerful nations don’t take well to unfriendly nations (or defense organizations) having weapons on their border. Put it this way, let’s say China was going to deploy weapons to Canada because they entered into a treaty. What do you think we would do? We’d invade and would be considered correct to do so. Most Americans would support it. Why? Because we know China is not our friend and them having weapons on our border would be an existential threat. As for not caring. I don’t care. We shouldn’t be involved as it only hurts us and no one can even make the serious argument that Ukraine will defeat Russia, so what’s the point? ETA: but way to engage in ad hominem attacks without addressing the argument. |
