Uses "published article" as a response, then refuses to link the article. lol Re-routing doesn’t mean there is enough. I’ll take his word. https://finance.yahoo.com/energy/articles/chevron-ceo-mike-wirth-warns-181509867.html Or maybe His word, too. Yeah His too. There is not enough crude getting out to non-US refineries. Not only is there not enough crude getting out, there’s not the proper blend for the ideal throughput for refineries. This is causing refineries to run less efficiently in other countries. Fact of the matter is, Saudi Arabia was only shipping 30-40% of its pre-war volumes. Which, is not enough. Total shipments from all gulf countries made up around 12m BPD in July 2026. That’s down from 20M bpd of just crude products, in July of 2025. So we are 8m bpd in the hole just there alone. Russian crude exports fell approximately 1m bpd. Perhaps a little more. Iran’s exports are effectively 0. Which is another 1.6m barrels per day. So we are around 9m to 11m BPD in the hole, currently. Hardly “enough” when you’re about 1/10th of global demand, off. So we are somewhere between 1.6 billion and 2 billion barrels of oil that was in storage, used. And certain areas are running out of crude. Which is why we are seeing more finished product shortages. Then we can get into the demand for all the other refined / processed products that we are missing 30-50% of. |

It was done in full public view during a presser. OMG, it was wonderful. This is not to say I like Pootsky. I despise the man. But I despise Zelensky less. Let them fight. Yes, I saw it. That’s exactly what I’m saying. Trump is Putin’s bitch. And Zelensky is the scapegoat for his shitty mistakes. The US just approved 2.6 billion in more anti-air systems to Ukraine. Trump will blast someone publicly then help them on the down low. Just like hes about to give Xi a grand visit to the US then rip him on Twitter a week later. Politics is theater. |

Yeah, the US sank Japanese merchant ships. Bit different than threatening to sink every ship in the Pacific that didn't pay tribute. There is a de facto state of war between Iran and pretty much everyone else in the region except for the Houthis and some factions in Iraq loyal to Iran. The US attacks their shipping, they attack everyone else’s shipping. That’s been a thing since the Bronze Age. Feigning shock that warring parties attack each other’s shipping is childish. |

Your additive bona fides have been established. It's not relevant to global supply at all. FTR I trust the stock market and oil price to tell me what's up. I look at trends. The oil price trend is down lately, but could change. The stock market price has been great for years (2022 was an exception.) Recent stock prices are pretty good, too, depsite the upturn in oil price the last 6-7 months. This is known as"clue" about where the economy wants to go. |

Europe is buying those from us to give to Ukraine. Which is fine, but the guy I was responding to thinks we’re spending tons of money on Ukraine. It’s just not true. BTW I’m fine with people saying we shouldn’t be paying for Ukraine’s defense. But the stuff blaming Ukraine for the war is fucking dumb. They’re only defending themselves. The Russians can go home at any time and the war will end. |

This shift is also affecting gasoline production as refineries prioritize more profitable diesel output (7:50 - 8:46). Economic and Political Context: The video highlights that gas prices have seen a record-breaking 52% increase during this midterm cycle (12:12 - 12:50). Walsh suggests that the current administration's energy policies and the ongoing support for Zelensky are exacerbating these problems (10:46 - 11:00). Potential Risks and Failed Solutions: The host warns against government-imposed export bans or price controls on fuel, arguing they would backfire by decreasing domestic production and causing shortages (20:10 - 23:40). He also discusses the depletion of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (27:48 - 28:51). Worst-Case Scenario: Citing reports from JP Morgan, the video warns that if global oil inventories reach an "operational stress floor," it could lead to severe energy shortages and economic instability (29:05 - 30:52). Walsh concludes by proposing that the government should prioritize ending the attacks on energy infrastructure and seeking alternative oil sources. Listened to this last night. He makes a compelling argument. Frankly, there’s no compelling reason for Ukraine targeting Russian diesel production other than to fuck with the world economy. I recommend watching the video, it goes pretty fast. |

Our little crude distillation unit and our vacuum flasher unit are going down next week for a decoke. Kinda in conjunction with a cat cracker going down as well. The other two crude distillation units are already at “full throttle”…with each unit processing 150,000 to 170,000 barrels of raw crude per day. I have heard some phenomenal numbers via the rumor mill about us being down and the cat cracker being down. A “lost profit opportunity” of $2,000,000 per day. Supposedly. Needless to say, “they” want us up and running fairly quickly. More back on topic…. The majority of our raw crude that we process comes from the Alberta tar sands. |

The fact you don’t see how everything is connected, again, shows me you have no idea what you’re talking about. Or actually how the O&G industry “works.” Newly minted energy experts. I’ve already given you my sources. CEO of Chevron, Shell and Exxon Mobil. All have given multiple warnings of crude shortages. EIA numbers showing that we are in a deficit. Over 200M barrels down of crude in the U.S. since this started. Just the U.S. Everything can be third party / independently verified by Jodi production data. Then again even with the OPEC monthly report. The IEA is still releasing crude at 5-7m bpd. China is releasing large amounts of their SPR. And, as I said. We are down about half through the global SPR storage. That doesn’t mean there’s more crude oil. It just means we are using the credit card. |
