I'm betting it's faked.......pretty easy to "photoshop" in a new layer of video with the chopper in over a layer of video with a bunch of guys ducking......

Just saying....

Fake.  The helicopter is a visual effect rather than an actual physical object in the video.

No downwash from the rotors is the easiest clue.  There are others dealing with the flight path and attitude of the helicopter.

Yeah, on closer look, the shadow is wonky.

I vote real.

The perspective of the scene and the aircraft match and rotor wash is like wing down wash in forward flight, ie. More horizontal than vertical.  The camera is panning to quickly to see the rotor wash hit the ground, at real speed that’s probably a 2 second video.  It’s also on YouTube in slightly better quality and the YouTube audio matches the rotor blades.

This. There should be dirt and debris flying everywhere.

It's in slow motion. The rotor wash isn't going to hit until moments later.

I have nothing to prove you wrong but there are people who claim to have been there and watched it happen.

I have seen a Chinook do something similar if not even wilder while training someplace outside of San Antonio. The pilots were certifiably crazy, and it was a lot of fun to watch.

They had a tail gunner hanging out the rear the entire time and he seemed good with it.
