Article 1 Section 3:
Judgment in Cases of Impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States: but the Party convicted shall nevertheless be liable and subject to Indictment, Trial, Judgment and Punishment, according to Law. The language of the impeachment clause contained in the Constitution's legislative article cannot be divided into either / or. It has to be both removal from office and disqualification. Once POTUS is a private citizen, the clause cannot be legally adhered to. The Senate trying a private citizen is a Bill of Attainder, which is specifically prohibited in the Constitution. Of course that won't stop Schumer, because he defends the Constitution - you know - by pissing on it. |

I don't get it. I've gone back and watched a bunch of his speeches. I see him calling the election rigged, being arrogant and pompous, and calling for constitutionally protected peaceful protest. I've seen him condemn rioters and threaten jail time for anyone harming the structures where they protest. I have not found anywhere him calling for violence, or inciting a riot. Yet this is the words they always use. But its ok for Chris cuomo to say protests don't have to be peaceful.
