Please consider doing some living, and make the most of it! Carpe diem! The older here can attest, man does time ever fly. Make some memories with some loved ones if ya can. That it all.
Or continue to nap in the basement with this dog it that's your thing. In before you're not my supervisor. |

I just made pancakes for my 6 and 3 year old. Now I’m on the back porch while my youngest one plays with bubbles.
So far so good. |

The weather is sucky today. Has been most of the weekend. I'm kinda glad we didn't go camping.
Your right OP. Time does fly. We tend to go pretty hard majority of the time. This is a rare chill weekend for us. |
|
I have had every day off since 2016
Its Monday so might hit the lake for a swim if it isn't too crowded. Tomorrow my 16yr old son has another flight lesson, soon he will have almost 100 landings. |
|
It's nearly noon and I haven't gotten out of bed yet. . It's actually nice for a very rare day off.
|
|
Should have been resting on a dove field, to rest up for tomorrow, when I’ll be resting some more.
|
|
Wife and I drove up to DC for our Potomac buffet cruise later tonight.
Enjoy your holiday everyone! |
|
I'm getting things in order for the family trust so I can email it to the attorney tomorrow. I am not planning on an early exit but you never know.

Biscuits, bacon, fruit and eggs for the boys and I this morning, cleaned up the kitchen, and then went and rode dirt bikes and worked in the garage for a bit.
Ribs on the smoker and we’re about to run to the hardware store for some odds and ends. |

I’m living it up, cooking down elderberries for jelly, and later today digging drain tile trenches in the barn by hand. Yay.

Had breakfast with family. I'm posting between sets at the gym with my kid then I'll go to work and do the same thing I normally do on a Monday but for twice the pay.

Gotta finish a Micro$oft cert I'm behind on then schedule the test.
At least I get to do it from home. |

I am on PTO and on call. I have been called in every day since Wednesday. I no longer do the call back and 18+ hours of bullshit. Now it is just the easy ones. Saturday I had to go in and save a log file on a piece of equipment. Two clicks and two hours of overtime. Sunday I had to go in and look at an instrument gauge for 10 seconds and make a phone call. Two more hours of overtime.
Salad days. I drag my retired wife out with me and then we go to breakfast or to a bar. I am hoping for a call back today. |

I had the week off and go back to work today. We spent two nights and two days at Legoland, NY.
Yesterday, we spent the day at the Scandinavian Festival, and today my wife is taking my youngest and his friend to the beach. Attached File Attached File |

Seven years of rarely knowing the date, and occasionally forgetting the month. These "holidays" are a nuisance, the stock market is closed and everyone else working for a living looks butt-hurt because they aren't a federal employee.
TURN THOSE MACHINES BACK ON! Dammit. Might take the family swimming, but I'd be doing that anyway. They're good doggies, despite the mischief. Attached File |
