The kid's wearing a t-shirt, shorts and sneakers. I bet he'd be angry and confused if he didn't land the job.
By the way, the Chalupa is fucking great! |

[#1]
he's applying at taco bell, that's pretty much enough to get the job.

What is the proper attire for a Taco Bell interview? |

And if he does get hired he'll be wearing a t-shirt, pants and sneakers.

Interview seems to be going well. He might actually get the job. Stay tuned.

I’d be more concerned with a dude who showed up for a Taco Bell interview in a suit as opposed to sneakers and shorts.

Wearing a suit to apply for a job to cook fast food would be dumb.

That's what I wear pretty much every day during the summer, but I wore a suit to my interview (I do not work at Taco bell).

Some Taco Bell trivia. The Taco Bell in Helsinki Finland serves Corona.

Would think a nice dark pair of jeans and a polo would be good for that level, most would be khakis and a properly fitting button down shirt.
But at least the kid showed and is applying. |

Well, I think the kid got the job. Manager got up and came back with paperwork for the kid to fill out. I'm done so I'm out. The kid will be making my Chalupa the next time around.

I interviewed for my job in jeans, an FR shirt, a ball cap and steel toed Ariats. They asked me if I could start that day.

This thread makes me want Taco Bell. Ours closed 9 years ago. The closest one is 2 hours away.

I thought Taco Bell only hired if you had Juggalo tatoos and were currently high on weed.

What's he supposed to wear? A full suit and tie to taco bell?
I interviewed for my current job in shorts, and untucked button up and sperrys. The guy who interviewed me is worth over 50 million dollars. Obviously, I got the job. The culture of "this is how it's done" is so tiring. |

And in this thread, we have learned that OP knows less about job hunting in the fast food market than a random teen.

I worked at Taco Bell in High School. I have no recollection about what I wore to the interview. Probably similar to the kid. Manager who hired me was a barely functioning alcoholic who got canned not long after I started. It was a fun job.
Not sure if they do any of this any more, but we got beans that had to be refried, meaning we had to sort beans from rocks, twigs, corn, etc, wash 'em, cook 'em in a pressure cooker, and use a drill with ~2 foot extension with a mixer gizmo on the end. Once they were done, we put them in a bus pan in the fridge. When we needed them, we pulled them out and heated them up. Don't recall the quantities of each, but ingredients were beans, water, lard and salt. I never ate the beans, because I was always afraid we would miss a tiny rock, and I'd break a tooth. We were diligent about sorting them, but occasionally one got through. It was a fun job, especially when it was just my girlfriend and I closing the store. We christened just about every surface in the store. |

FYI...He’ll be making that Chalupa next week. Did you say, extra sour cream? Glad you’re enjoying your food so much....

Wearing a t-shirt and shorts to a Taco Bell interview is overdressing, and akin to the Step Brothers tuxedo job interview scene.

I was a pizza place once and a kid walks in for an interview in shorts, t-shirt and flip flops. The owner of the establishment was asking the kid questions and the kid kept telling him to hold on because he was on the phone.
The kid did not get the job. Also, Taco Bell is fucking nasty. |
