Wife wanted to watch something spooky with Halloween coming up.
I forgot what a legitimately good movie this was. I hadn't seen it since it came out and there are some incredible moments that I forgot about. Decent gun porn, too. I really wasnt in to guns when I first saw it. Really makes me miss Luigi (our GSD that we put down last year) Too bad most of the "pose with your GSD and your rifle" posts on google were wrecked by Photophucket |

This movie grew my desire to own a GSD... Well... I have a GSD now. She's a little shit half of the time but damn she's a good dag. She'd be by my side till the end whether its her or me first.

I can’t rewatch movies like that where it’s a sad ending. Especially when there’s a dead dog. I just watched the whole Scary Movie franchise a couple weeks ago and that was great. I felt like I was back in the 90s

Meh, Omega Man with Heston is better, and I also like Vince Price in Last Man on Earth.

View Quote The Omega Man kept most of the same themes but instead of a group of living vampires, they turned that surviving group of people into kids that were infected but had not yet turned into mindless savages "the family". No dog. I liked I am Legend but the story is quite a bit different. NYC instead of LA, the dog is his pet and this version didn't have a separate/special group of infected survivors that were not ravenous zombie vampires. |

Exorcist III aka Legion.
George C. Scott and Brad Dourif are awesome in it. It's spooky but not gory. Suspense but not really "horror." That would be my recommendation, anyways. I liked I Am Legend but, as others have said, Omega Man did it better and more faithfully to the book. |

The movie never really even explains why the title is "I am legend" and as a result fails hard.
Originally, people used to tell their children stories about monsters, boogeymen, etc. Now...this new species tells *their* children stories about *HIM* - he is their mythical creature that may or may not actually exist. |

Yes, good flick, at least what I saw....
I didn’t know about the GSD in the plot & watched the movie alone a month after we put down our GSD for degenerative myelopathy. Next thing the GSD scene comes, I’m crying like a baby & never finished it. |

Good flick. I prefer the alternate ending, but still good the way it is.
Been waiting for the prequel forever now. |

Out of all the stuff I liked about the movie
I couldn’t get over that he was pretty much driving clean Fords in a city that had been dead for years. This coming from a Ford guy. |

You mean the movie where the guy lived peacefully and alone with his dog for years and years, then a woman came and he died within like a week? Yeah, good movie
