Read a story about how he "fixed" the computer one of the publications he worked for gave him to write on as well.

Too weird to live, too rare to die... he must be killed by his own hand.

If we're lucky we'll see another Hunter S. Thompson but I doubt it and the young of the world will be poorer for it...

A good friend of mine is a huge Hunter S Thompson fan. Got that from his grandpa. He also got a nice shotgun when his grandpa passed away.
One week, he decides he is going to gift his grandpas shotgun to Hunter. We live in WI. He drove to Hunter's house, in Colorado, and got there at a respectable hour, 1AM, and knocked on the door. He never called, never wrote, just showed up. They got along great, and he stayed for a week, high as balls and drunk off his mind. Hunter appreciated the gesture of his gift but gave it back, telling him it was his family's gun, and that's where it should stay. They did play a few rounds of shotgun golf with it. He said it was the most amazing thing he had ever experienced until his daughter was born. |

There are times, however, and this is one of them, when even being right feels wrong. What do you say, for instance, about a generation that has been taught that rain is poison and sex is death? If making love might be fatal and if a cool spring breeze on any summer afternoon can turn a crystal blue lake into a puddle of black poison right in front of your eyes, there is not much left except TV and relentless masturbation. It's a strange world. Some people get rich and others eat shit and die.

Take a look-see at some of these images & tell me how willing you'd be to work on them. AFAIK the guy that developed them went insane. They were the standard in the early 70s. What a fucking nightmare and were the standard for .mil commo https://www.bing.com/images/search?q=asr+28+teletype&FORM=HDRSC2 |
