If you use a pocket knife as much as I do in a day, it'll break very soon
Love a good auto knife but the constant opening and closing will have you forever tightening backed out screws or simply regrinding expensive broken tips |

My Chinese otf seem to hold up fine after a few years of carrying. I use every day. But there definitely are several grades for sure. Some of the 1st assisted opening screws would just backout. Got a number of traditional out the side. They are what I consider mid grade. They function decently.

Hogue is solid. I prefer protech, just because it seems a little more refined. But I carry mostly ultratechs because old guys have limited dexterity.

Same for people who work in theater IIRC. My Texas electrical license kept me from catching a charge there in 2003 according to the friendly NYPD officer.
