Hollywood doesn’t seem to have but maybe a very small handful of rational people. Their whole career is based on make believe characters so there is that red flag.

They just tried to roll it out too fast. They sensed they had momentum.
They will learn and they will get smarter. If you give the moviegoers a well done female character the public will respond to someone like Sigourney Weaver who made Ripley an amazing bad ass character that everyone bought. |
