Do these normally cycle 762x39 guns?
I have the weirdest boner thinking about throwing a can on my RPD with subsonic 762 |

I had no idea about any of them until a few years ago. The little bigger case and heavier bullet probably make it a lot easier than the 300 Blackout. Pretty cool. |

I have the Brown Bear 196gr subs for my suppressed AK. They keyhole at 25 yards. They are fucking useless. Hope these are better.

Reminds me of the Brown Bear subsonics from a couple of years ago. Still have a couple of boxes. They cycled my WBP Lynx SBR AK ok with the OEM recoil spring. The ALG extra power spring I use with full power ammo won't cycle obviously.
Barely cycled my SKS. |

Want for Pig hunting! They'll probably be more expensive than 300blk's though...
|
|
Let me guess.....
$3 per round. $5 per round when they hit GB. |
|
The brown bear ammo worked great in my ks47, no keyholes.
I would be exited to see if this cycles in it. |
|
This is exactly what I've been wanting for a Ruger Ranch.
Brown Bear makes some 7.62x39 Subs but it's FMJ and steel cased. A brass cased hunting round in x39 is going to be perfect for suppressed bolt guns. |

|
I’d do some pretty gay stuff for some more .40 cpr SST steel cased.

I am getting some! My Ruger Ranch is great suppressed. The bullet drop trajectory change is shocking even at 100yds . I wonder if the Ruger would stabilize this heavier projectile. I think my subs are 196gr.

They got time to make a new product but no time to make .45-70 existing products.

Stated: Terminal velocity as low as 900 fps.
So muzzle velocity is what, >= 1000 fps? |

I have a recoil spring I had to cut some coils off of to cycle. Marked it with orange paint to keep track of what spring is in the AK. Cycles like a champ. No keyholes, stable. |

I'm happy with my Brown Bear in my CZ527 7.62x39. It's a fun shooter.

Will try out of my SiG 556R hog gun.
If these work there's no longer any reason for me to consider 300 BO. |

I have ten boxes of the stuff and have only shot about ten of them suppressed through an AK with a Dead Air Nomad. No baffle strikes, but I'll need to test them before I shoot any more of it. |

The really efficient stuff is crazy. I remember a test with 750gr 50 bmg bullets and I think they only lost 150fps all the way to 900-1000 yards or something crazy. |

I have a Ruger American Ranch I’ve shot the 196 grain steel case through. It grouped about 4” at 100 yards and only hit about 6” lower than the supers. Not sure what’s different…twist rate maybe? But I definitely wasn’t getting keyholes. It’s pretty quiet with a can too.

Fuck all that.
How about make more subsonic 300BO and drive the price down a little. Fuckn trash can guns. |

Quoted: Wish Sig had kept supporting those guns. I got out of mine when it became clear they didn’t fucking care about the owners at all. Wish Sig had kept supporting those guns. I got out of mine when it became clear they didn’t fucking care about the owners at all. It's a shame considering how reliable and accurate it is. With an ACOG on it I bust clays on the berm at 140Y and rarely miss one. The iron sights were cheap crapola though. I also had a PTR HK 7.62x39 which was even MORE accurate. The problem with it was that the bolt carrier was so heavy and (due to that) the action was so slow you'd literally be waiting for the "cha-CHUNK" before you could fire again. You'll see these ripping full auto and they look great but in semi they really do suck because of that bolt mass/slow action issue. If they fixed that I'd be overjoyed and buy two of them. |

Yeah, sweet gun, if a bit heavy. |

I picked up a bunch of the PPU subsonic 7.62x39 when it came out. Excellent out of a Ruger bolt gun.
