Is there any way to determine what are heavyweight Levis? Most are 'midweight' but 11oz 'heavyweight are available.

I recently got a pair of 513s instead of my usual 514, and I love them. I want to buy a heavyweight pair if possible.

their heavy weight may be more in the 15oz area..

if you want a real heavy weight jean here you go..unbranded 21oz jeans

They will last 2 years of daily wear. Soak them once every 6-8 months. Ive had a few pairs and love them. Research 'raw denim' if your interested. $90 is cheap, but the quality is better than anything you've worn.

as mentioned for raw, selvage, sanforized denim that is a great price..

I have couple pairs of raw denim jeans from TAD - they are the best fitting, most comfortable jeans I have ever owned..

my biggest issue with most raw denim is that they come only in one length - so you must have them professionally hemmed or roll them up if they are too long

11 oz denim isn't heavyweight.

15 oz is good shit, though.

The 513s are my favorite jeans. Perfect cut and fit in my size. I wish they were more readily available.

Check into "prison blues" denim stuff. I had some and really liked them.
