My employer has government contracts and I am being forced to get the jab.

Which one did you get and what were your experiences?

I got mine back when Trump was President.  Sore arm for a day with both shots. Tired and slight fever for 12 to 14 hours after the second shot.

I got the Pfizer, arm a bit sore after the first shot. My arm was sore for a few days after the second. It was also sore for a few days after the booster. I also got the flu shot, arm was sore for a day or two. Small price to pay for what you get in return.

Whats a "rona" ? Is this some uber hipster slang ?

Also, you're not being forced,  you have a choice. Not good ones but they are there

My company is probably a month away from mandating it - currently they’re just demanding a headcount of who is/isn’t fully vaccinated.

Figuring the mandate is inevitable I accepted a job with a smaller company today and will be putting in my 2 weeks the week their deadline hits.

Lots of other jobs out there.

I got the J&J back in June. Sore arm, but no worse than any other IM shot I've had. Very slight fever and fatigue the next day, then back to normal.

If I was forced to get the jab, I would be taking Ivermectim before and after the shot. The vax is a program for something other than COVID IMO.

At this point, two separate stopping conditions have been satisfied:
1. The vaccines kill more people than they save
2. The vaccines have killed over 150,000 Americans so far.

Pfizer in March, after second shot felt crummy for about 10 hours.  I feel for you if you don't want it but are being forced.  I'm not a fan of mandates at all.

I had a bad night of fever (full body shaking) followed up by a day of being low energy/foggy.  All over in 48 hours.

Pfizer.

No problem with the first one. Second one gave me a fever and chills for about 4 days. Just couldn't regulate my body temperature. Also had my heartbeat skipping.

Subsequently learned that several of my coworkers had the fever and chills thing.

My wife and sons also had the Pfizer shots with no side effects at all.

Have you gotten the Rona vaccines and what was your experience?

None of em. My life is pretty great. Everything is more or less how it was two years ago... except for gas prices. Cost me a ton more now. Food too. And ammo is horrible. The Rona got me a lot more of that though. And some other cool toys. Less places to go and shop now, a lot are permanently closed. But I have gotten permanent work from home. That's awesome.

I know some people that missed a lot of work due to vaccines and boosters though, some with weird new "quirks". Seems to be a roll of the dice.

Seriously though, from what I've seen vaccine will go great for you, or it won't. You can't base how your body reacts on how someone else's does. If you're concerned about how it'll go, talk to a doc, consider whether you want to, and then take the appropriate steps either way.

Moderna. First shot my arm was really tender where they gave me the shot for 4 days or so. Kind of sucked.

2nd shot....I expected to be sick the next day. Woke up the next morning and felt fine. No big deal. Headed to work. Around 10:30 or 11, over the course of about 5 minutes I suddenly felt like I'd had the hell beat out of me. Whole body just ached. Low grade fever. Nothing that made me head to bed, but definitely felt it.

That last 2 or 3 days. Like I said, wasnt under the weather enough to not go to work but I sure wasnt going above and beyond at anything.

The only ongoing lingering issue I've had it oddly the vaccine made my penis 3 inches longer. The girlfriend and I are pretty happy about that. So, given that I'd definitely encourage you to get the vax and hope your side effect is a bigger penis.

I mean, if you DONT want as bigger penis then probably dont want to get the vax but......I think its well worth it.

I got it.

Moderna.

No biggie.

Everyone at work had it.  Biggest problem was one guy got sleepy for a day and another kept whining that his arm felt like it got punched.

Six months later and I see the world in Matrix code though.

Second hand I have seen from no reaction to death.  Most felt like garbage for 2-3 days after the second shot.

It's a crap shoot.  I would say ask your doctor, but after a friend was encouraged to get the shot and barely survived the cardiac event after shot two I don't know that asking a doctor would matter.

With boosters every few months it will be interesting to see what happens when those that suffered effects after the first round of shots have to go back for more.

I got the Moderna vaccination back in March. No issues at all other than feeling flu like for a day with the second dose. My wife and three older children all had the Pfizer vaccination around the same time frame. No issues or complications for any of us. My parents had the Pfizer vaccination as well with no issues.

Pfizer.  On the morning of day three after the first dose I had joint pain all over my body.

600 mg of ibuprofen knocked the pain down.  Other than soreness and swelling at the injection sites, no serious issues.

I got the Moderna vax in April. Sore arm after the first shot for about 3 days. Thought I would feel crappy after the second shot so I took the day off work. Felt slightly off but not bad. Arm was a little sore but not as bad as the first shot. Day after that I was back running in the morning without issues.

I got Moderna x2 back in January. No symptoms after the first shot. Sore arm and achy after the second which went away after I took some Motrin. My symptoms lasted 2-3 days but were never bad enough to make me miss work or otherwise change anything about daily schedule.

My wife got Moderna x2 as well at the same time and basically had the same reaction. We are both in our late 30s early 40s.

Moderna last spring sometime.  Arm a little sore for a day or so on the first shot.  Second shot kicked my ass for a couple days.  No plans at the moment to mess with any boosters.

Wife (nurse) got the Phizer early on, I dont recall her having any issues.  She got the booster a couple weeks ago.  We're both in reasonable health and in our mid 60s.

Neither of us have any co-morbidities to deal with other than our age group in general.

Got the J&J back in March.  I'm an old guy with high BP so I decided to do it.  No real side effects.  Had very mild fatigue that afternoon.  Kind of felt like I didn't get enough sleep.

Just for grins I had an antibody test last month.  Yep, I got them.

Moderna.  A little arm soreness for the first shot but didn't feel bad otherwise.  Second one I felt bad enough to call in sick to work the next day (fever, chills, overall malaise) and didn't feel good again until about 48 hours later.

3 Pfizers. At my age I have nothing to lose.

Had a sore arm for a day or two, but nothing else. Well, my dick did grow an inch, but at this size it's really not that noticeable.

Moderna.

Both times, sore arm. Got tired in the afternoon. Had a good nights sleep and all was better.

Similar to the average flu shot, really.

Nothing more.

Moderna in January & February.  Sore arm (like 3 flu shots at once kind of sore) both times.  8 hours after the first shot I had chills that lasted for 3-4 hours, and similar symptoms with the second shot.  Everything tasted weird for about 24 hrs after the first shot but not the second.

J&J. 0130 couldn't catch my breath, Blood O2 89%,HR130. Stayed that way most of night. Gradually improved through the next day. There won't be any "Booster" for me.
