We put on an Appleseed rimfire Known distance event here in Kodiak last weekend and just as I was about to call fire, these four walked out behind the target lineAttachment Attached File

It's downright rude.

Yeah, we regularly have deer cross the berm behind the 200 yd line.  Folks are good about letting them get out of the way before resuming shooting

Deer and groundhogs. Never had bears on the range.

Had a coyote stop about 350 yards from me one day. I’d been shooting all afternoon near where she stood and the wind had pretty much died. Nailed her with a 55 grain .223 Hornady fmjbt.

Had about 20 feral horses wander out onto the range when I was doing some load development with a 300WM.  They came from behind a berm far to my right, and as I got ready to shoot I only just caught their movement before I shot.

That happens a lot here with turkeys.

Deer, groundhogs, and an occasional stray. Mostly deer, though. Usually ~200yds out, but as close as 50 on one occasion. They're unfazed by the shooting. Someone would have to go chase them off in the days before there was an RSO. Now it's part of their job.

Oh, and since it's a public range: Other shooters.

A bunch of deer did that to us at night on a Bradley live fire range in Germany. The entire line opened up all at once without anybody saying a word.

We were kicked off the range. Fortunately it wasn’t during qualification (Table VIII?). The German rangemeister was out of mind. They made us go back the next day and clean up what was left of the carcasses. That Bushmaster cannon does nasty things to a body.

grey fox just last week. he or she came out from behind the fifty yard berm on one side, trotted down the center of the range and exited left by the 200 yard berm.

We had been shooting just several minutes prior and we’re about to go hot, i had a guy hold up.

+1 deer on the mil ranges, all the time, LeJeune, Drum, that guard base outside of Cape Cod (old timers hitting the brain tonight)

I had one faux pas in 40 years of shooting.  Was shooting a rifle, I think a scoped AR or maybe my .22-250.....just as the trigger broke I saw a blur of blue in my scope.   Walked down range and saw I shredded a blue jay that swooped in the line of fire.

I've been to several trap shoots that had to stop because deer walked onto the range in the middle of shoots. It almost seems like they're attracted to gunfire outside of deer season.

At one range I used to frequent, I would often have  cat drop on me while I was shooting. It was deaf as hell but still wanted to be pet. Crazy cat!

Me, never, but a buddy told me about a time with the 8/40 Armored down in Huachuca WAY back in the day when they were doing tank tables on the range, firing the cupola machineguns on the M60A5, (it was a long time ago), when a deer wandered out on the range. EVERYONE opened fire while the RO screamed cease fire, and when the dust settled down, the unharmed deer ran off into the desert. He stated a LOT of rocks got painted for that one.

There is something about a 50bmg that will bring cattle in like crazy. It's really odd.

Had some asshats purposely park their suv down range shooting in the desert, and some dip shit driving directly next to my target on a dirt bike.

Clicked expecting actual clowns. Possibly juggalos. Thread did not deliver.

I do remember having to fight the temptation when a random bird would decide to violate the trap shooting no-fly zone though

Some dopey stray hound showed up at the property so we fed it. The stupid mutt started chasing bullet strikes. My finger was tightening on the trigger break when he ran right thru the crosshairs.

Always the deer by me, it's like their either deaf or just plain retarded fags mulling around right into the 75 yard line while firing.

Hunting with 5 rounds on me, quite as a church mouse deep in the forest, nothing for hours....

Then a squirrel farts 100 yards away from the one in a million chance deer that shows up and it's a blur in 1/2 second.

Range; 1000 rounds, three rifles 3 hand guns ready for war and can't fire a shot at the retarded deaf heard.

As a matter of fact yes. I had a stray dog wander into my scope view right before I was going to pull the trigger.

Why yes that has happened to me. Suscon Road, State Gamelands near Pittston PA.

Jersey douchebags decided to show up and run some gangsta drills. After the one dude shot the bench I decided to pack up and leave. While I was packing up, his homies were sideways shooting in front of the line why the other homies were in back of them sideways shooting.

That was back in 2009 and I haven’t been back.

I was doing some plinkimg with a coworker at an old quarry back in Utah,  less than 100 yards from a hillside. All of a sudden some people with California plates show up and setup right between us and the back stop. We just looked at each other like wtf. Packed up our stuff and went somewhere else.

I was shooting at the South Bay Rod and Gun Club in San Diego back in the late 90's one Saturday afternoon when we had to cease-fire.
A group of illegals were crossing and walked out onto the range.
