He's cornered under a tool box.  How do I catch and kill him?

He bypassed the traps.

Update:  Threw a cardboard box on to catch him.  Box edge caught him and held him til he got some stick.

Cut a q tip in half and shoot it out of a pellet gun, it'll kill it if you can hit it.

Lead pellets actually don't ricochet that bad.

Back in college, friend of mine lived in a trailer.  Mice were EVERYWHERE.

Playing poker, traps were constantly snapping.  He kept a loaded pump up pellet pistol on the table.

He was REALLY GOOD at nailing those suckers.

It was a little one...  two inches long.  How far can babies travel?  Probably more to come.

What brand toolbox? What size hands does the mouse have?

do you have a cake cutter or zip tie cutter? If so, grab the mouse hands and cut off the tip just the tip then throw the mouse away.

A couple of years ago - the girlfriend had one so small in her house that it could eat the peanut butter off of my springs traps and never set them off.

Took a glue trap to catch the SOB.

I've killed several with a plunger.....
Kitteh likes to take them to the bathtub for "playtime" so they can't get away. You can tell how long the mouse has been there. The freshly caught are still jumping around trying to climb out. The ones caught earlier are either played to death or badly shell-shocked. Pretty smart move by the cat, but I have to wash out the tub.

Basically box was the coat and stick was the hammer but I didn't dirty up a coat or the hammer.

I threw the cardboard box away with mouse and stick inside.

I sick my mastiffs on mice.  They're actually pretty good ratters.

Otherwise I'd shoot the bastage with a BB gun.
