That's where you find Skunk Apes. Bigfoot is in the Pacific Northwest.

I thought rouxgaroux and Bigfoot had a meeting and mapped out the limits for both cryptids?
They better be following the damn agreement |

I grew up in NE LA. We had the Bienville parish wood monster. AR has the Fouke monster. Maybe the edge of gator country.

Supposedly skunk apes here too, I guess if you believe in cryptids.
ETA- SC does have a legit monkey island though- Morgan Island. It's a colony of rhesus monkeys used for research purposes including by that sick bastard fauchi's former employer. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morgan_Island,_South_Carolina |

I grew up in central Arkansas. See the posts above about Fouke monster. Yes, I saw the movie in a theatre as a teen.

Honey Island Swamp monster
The Honey Island Swamp Monster, also known as the Cajun Sasquatch and in Cajun French: La B te Noire, is an ape-like humanoid cryptid creature, similar to descriptions of Bigfoot, purported to inhabit the Honey Island Swamp in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana. Wikipedia |

I’ve seen a skunk ape back in the swamps once when I was a kid. I shot it with a .22 and it yelled, “Ow, Fuck!”, and ran off. Haven’t seen one since then.

We have some escaped primates roaming around here in South Florida, plus homeless wild men that don't bathe for years, so I could see how people get them confused.

many times
ETA already mentioned it is not called Bigfoot but Skunk Ape |

Personally I believe in Bigfoot - I think it's a relic hominid of sorts. And I think it is dying out or finally becoming truly extinct as time progresses.

Quoted: Skunk Ape https://s3.amazonaws.com/adg-bucket/legends-of-the-national-parks-everglades-swamp-ape/3238-medium.jpg View Quote Yup. Had a kid I knew that was night fishing on one of the canals down in the Everglades. He smelled something incredibly horrible and then saw the outline of a man as it jumped across the canal, over his head as he was standing in the Jon boat. He estimated in jumped maybe a 30 foot span and he's 6'4". |

Quoted: that's because you can't see them with your eyes... View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Bigfoot has never been sighted anywhere. Ever. that's because you can't see them with your eyes... Because they are trans dimensional nephilim that hang out in the woods and you can only really experience it if you pay a Bigfoot expedition $500. Then you'll be able to hear wood knocks. Nephilim love knocking on wood. |

I've always wondered, do Bigfeet/Yetis/Samsquatches have cartilage for bones that just decomposes like flesh? There has to be a logical reason we've never found any skeletal remains. Maybe all Bigfeet know when their time is up and seek active volcanos to dive in to? I guess the science just isn't settled on Bigfeet(?)
