You know, I never cared that Seagal movies were cheesy as hell. They were at least entertaining and fun, or the early movies were anyway. I also practiced Aikido back when I was young and enjoyed the movies because he often used techniques I practiced on a regular basis.

True story. Helping my buddy bring back Gage Tollner, a iconic Brooklyn steak house. One of his carpenters is named Richie so while there we kept yelling out "anybody see Richie!"

So my buddy comes up and says "you gotta see this" and hands me his phone. Apparently Seagal got shook down by the mob in the basement of Gage Tollner. There was court testimony and Seagal denied it happened but the wait staff said otherwise.

I go to landlord tenant court on Livingston street about once a year. I have 2 tenants that opened up satellite restaurants in park slope trying to get in on all the hype over there. They both closed them after spending bookoo dollars
