I know they have their big memorial day sale coming up, and even though I don't really need anything, I'd like to peruse and see if there's anything that may come in handy

I just bought an auger from them, $189. So far no issues and it does just as good as the two man auger from the rental place that was $150/day.

I've had their impact deep sockets for almost 12 years now, not had an issue!   They came in a metal storage box.

Their security bit set is decent to have on hand. Epically when you don't use it often, but when you need it, you have it!

Manuel 'fuel' 'fluid' transfer pump is again something to have on hand and nice to have when you need it!

I rotate through dykes in the Jeep tool kits.  Cheap enough that they work, but when they wear to toss and still cheap enough that if they get stolen oh well type thing.

Bungee cords, zip ties, magnet hooks and I'm sure I have a few other things from them.

OH and their blades for the sawzal!  Good enough when you taking a stump out and trying to cut the roots away and dont want to dirt your chainsaw chain.

Gloves, moving blankets when needed(middle of a move currently). I have a bunch of their impact sockets, all have treated me well.

I have two of their jacks. One of the aluminum 1.5 ton ones and a 3 ton low profile long reach. All good stuff.

The top of the line one with synthetic line is something like $600, and come with a wireless remote. A $300 option on Warn winches without, or buy a $2000 Evo. /shrug.

I have no personal experience. But you see quite a few off-road YouTubers with them. Matt’s Off Road Recovery being one of the more popular ones. And they get used a ton.

On the same note:  the badlands off-road scissor jack.

Hardy 5mil gloves
Floor jacks
US General tool boxes (have 3)
Moving blankets
D cell fluid transfer pumps
Impact sockets (honestly, most of my work hand tools are HF now, lifetime warranty is easy and have only had to use it a couple times)
Rechargeable work lights

Yep. I have one and it's nice.

Also, their sockets and ratchets are good for light duty work. Only one of my ratchets is starting to be worn out after hundreds of uses over the last 5 years.

If you have old eyes and mess with little fiddly crap, you need one of these.  $13.99

I just used mine to swap out some N gauge couplers, which have a screw about the diameter of a hair.

Finally got them swapped...I put them in backwards.

Doh!

$13.99 Makes a great bit screwdriver with just a bit socket.

For those that don't know, they have VASTLY improved in the last decade.  Sure they still stock some absolute junk, but for many items I'd have no problem putting them against anything sold at HD/Lowe's/etc.  I think my Hercules compound miter and stand is every bit (or even better) as good as Dewalt.  For almost half the cost.  Just one example.

The 7" shop brush is super handy - I have several around the shop. Their big steel dustpan gets used a lot, too.  I have three of their hand grinders, and while not top tier, they work fine.  Benchtop 8" variable speed grinder is nice.  Careful with the replacement wheels, though, they are not balanced very well.

That depends. How ofter will you use it in a must have situation and do you have a backup plan or someone to call if it fails? For me, I have no problem with using them but not as a primary on my personal vehicle (3 with a winch) but I am 2 hours from the nearest HF for a replacement, that far for a tow truck and that far from someone I know I can trust at 2am on a Tuesday during antelope season. So probably for most of the people that would buy a winch.

I have a drain auger, dead blow hammer, tool cart, icon 1/4" drive deep sockets, many tape measures, plastic tarps, 2 wheel dolly, 4 wheel furniture dolly, plastic automotive panel puller tools, pneumatic stapler(meh), pool floatie inflator, 1/8" electric die grinder, and many more items that I like.
Their power tools, I have not had as good of luck. Sump pumps, oscillating tool, jobsite light, leaf blower, bench grinder, and a couple of others that didn't last through the first job. I stopped buying them. They refunded my money on items within warranty.

I have few harbor freight things that I like plenty.

-20 ton shop press
-Rolling tool cart
-Air stapler (smaller and larger one) great for smaller task
-Flex head 3/8 ratchet
-Rock tumbler (replaced with a Franklin recently but used them for 4ish years without issue)
-2 ton aluminum floor jack. Worked great for the race car at the track
-Apache cases - used one to make a diesel heater and that went well
Still have the jack stands that can kill you. So far, so good but use on rare occasions

Bunch of good stuff listed

I'll add the 1500 lb. Aluminum ATV / Motorcycle Lift works great and the 20 Ton H-Frame Floor Shop Press worked fine when I converted my CJ-7 to solid axles. I have one of the old orange Pittsburgh 3 ton floor jacks that lives in the back of my truck, it's over 20 years old and still going strong.

The little magnetic parts trays/bowls are great to have too I have a bunch scattered around my shops

Brass auto punch to stake castle nuts- takes a few hits but gets it done.
Rotary tool for removing glock finger grooves.
Red handtruck dolly for moving cases of ammo.
Their .50 cal ammo cans dont close tight enough imo so pass on those.

They recently opened a store near me which is only 6 miles from the other closest location.  That makes 4 HF stores in the Jacksonville area.  Guess I need to go to the new store and see what chinese stuff I can't live without.

The 6hp predator engine is good.  I've had one on my tiller for years.  It gets abused since it sits in the garden pretty regularly.  I also hear that people like them for go carts.  I've also heard good things about the Predator inverter generators, but I don't own one, personally.

I'll second the impact sockets.  I've used the Pittsburgh Pro impact sockets for years on vehicles, lawn equipment, and tractors.  I bought a spare 13/16 and 21mm yesterday and used them to change out the lug nuts on my F150.  I wanted them for spares since I keep my 1/2 inch impact in the truck.

I like the knockoff pelican cases. I'm using one for my comms box and I just bought another case yesterday for a backpack ATAK/meshtastic project.  $12.99 for the little one.  I wish someone made reasonably priced padded divider systems for them.
