Everything and I mean everything made it in. Especially when it came to AK variants.

Second girl down is Bosnian and a very well known sniper during the war.
The short haired girl with the camo jacket is Croatian (Look at the checkerboard pin)
The one in the police uniform is Slovenian
Leather jacket girl is Bosnian
Beret girl I think is Croatian.

Since before WWII.

I don't think they ever standardized on 7.62x54R, did they?

They had anything and everything, Including home made guns. We stopped at an Italian base and checked out their bar. The walls were covered in confiscated guns. There was a .50 home made pistol.

I have some crappy double exposed photos of this bar.

I remember hearing quite a lot of stuff was bought over the counter in Austria, as at that time it didn’t have strong laws against purchase of sporting weapons.

Not sure how true, but interesting.

Is it commonplace for sporting/hunting rifles to be equipped with iron sights over there?  I don't think anyone in my family owns a scoped hunting rifle with irons.

Very common, especially older Bolt actions have Irons here. But i think It Is the same in the US!

Anyway many bolt guns are still produced with Irons for our market because sometimes Hunters take off the scope and use the rifle for boar collective hunting

You won't want to boog in AZ.

Guys show up to rallies with M2's and M240's on HMMWV's, M249's, M82's. The works. That isn't counting everyone else rocking NODs and suppressors.

When we confiscated guns, we ruined them by crushing them in our M88 tracks. We then stored them until EOD took care of them.

Here are a couple of the crappy pics I took in the Italian bar.

I’m sure they had their fair share of LARPers back then who wanted to be the cool chick just like there would be today. You think any of the chicks hanging with antifa will be there if lead starts flying? Nope and their sub boyfriends will be right behind them

No, lower right. Hard corps 1775 posted a zoom of them a few posts down.

Looks like binos with a 35mm camera zoom lens bolted on

I think that is a 629 Classic Hunter....44 mag with 4 position front sight.  Believe it was for the silhouette guys.  I had a 6" 28 Classic Hunter with an unfluted cylinder and that sight.  Pretty neat...I used one spot for 25, 50, and 100 yards.
