Any insight on a lower cost, good beam output light for cycling.
I want to handlebar mount.
Needs to last for minimum 2 hours.
Rechargeable is really the only option.
Has to work at 15-20 mph so I can see the path ahead in total darkness.

Thanks

If you want name brands look at NiteRider - quality lights that are somewhat reasonably priced. In fact here is on for half off: https://bikecloset.com/product/lumina-1000-boost/?

I have used several no name lights from Amazon, some with very good results. Here's two I currently use for MTB at night and very happy with them for the prices paid. The CECO model has been purchased by some friends as well after they saw how well mine worked.

Well, that was easy. I didn't know FENIX had bike lights.
I just rode the bike over there and picked up a few things since they are just a few miles away.

This FENIX tail light has to be the best tail light I've found for the money.  EDIT;$20 !!!
Used for 3 rides so far on blinking strobe high beam, about 7 hours worth on one charge and it is still strong.

I haven't used the headlight yet but as far as light out put, settings and ease of use, it is very impressive so far.

I had the same criteria, ended up with a Magicshine headlight and an eBay 4x 18650 holder. They use USB connectors so I can also use a phone as navigation on the handlebar and charge it from the same battery pack

BUT I rarely use the bar light. I have a Nitecore HC60 headlamp for night rides that is better. It has to do with how the light reflects back to your eyes. When the source is near your eyes there's less shadows.

Just had my first night ride with my new Lezyne 1300XL.  It is perfect.

Typically $109 on crapazon, but for whatever reason the gloss black version was $89.

I use a 250 watt AA version on my road bike at night..Very bright and only about $8 new..Has a built in flasher function too. Use both or one feature. I like AA vs. remebering to charge crap

I have the Magicshine.

they work fine. the cable for the helmet lamp could be longer but its serviceable.

the headlight puts out pretty good light.

actually planning a night ride tomorrow night.

I bought this light but the base broke after a while. While I like the lights functions the mount is very weak.
The Fenix bike lights are still the best value I have found so far.

Nebo did warranty the above light but it is out of production so I just got a different handheld.
I made a new base mount out of aluminum so I can still use it.

I see you already got one but for some others who may be looking I bought this $29.99 one off of Amazon two years ago.  It has held up well to about 600-miles on the road, I wouldn't think it would last long off-road.  It has two 18650 removable batteries which is nice if you carry spares.  It also has a charger port so the batteries can stay in.  It has a quick disconnect from the mount which is only now starting to have the slightest play.
