Great game. My neighbor's dad came to me ( I was around 13 ), because he couldn't solve the maze on the second play through. I had finished it 10 minutes and he spent hours getting lost.

I haven't done a playthrough yet.
Curiously enough looks like whoever had
it before me replaced the battery in it for the save feature.

yeah most NES batteries are now dead or need replacing.

I haven't checked my copy in years it probably needs to be replaced, here's a few from my collection, what I considered my gems that I bought collector cases for them, the rest are just in a wicker tray, along with my SNES and Genesis games:

Original Metroid is still my all time favorite NES game as a kid.

Yea me too, I'm doing a playthrough on Metroid.
It was the first Nes cart along with Kung Fu that
my dad bought us during Christmas 87'.
Where did you get those cases

Sweet, I'm getting a few.
This retro collecting is fun as hell but can be expensive.
Right now I'm on the lookout for a Sega Master System

I have a guide somewhere that explains how to get 7 or 8 hearts, the white sword, big shield, and a bunch of other stuff before you enter the first dungeon.

I've picked up a bunch of PS2 games from this place.  Some of the prices are very reasonable.  There is an entire selection of the Sega stuff.  I have no clue if their prices are reasonable when it comes to the games/systems for Sega.
