I guess this makes Godzilla movie #32. I have all of them in my collection... except for that last piece of crap.

Love Godzilla. I’ll see it in the theater. And Pacific Rimjob was queer as a Liberace, Andy Dick, Obummer 3-way. View Quote |

Considering how badly the first one sucked, I'm not optimistic.

When I was a kid I spent the night at a friend's house and we stayed up all night watching the old Japanese Godzilla movies. They were awful. It was so much fun. I love this crap. It's so corny and so awesome. Do want. Will definitely rent it.

Godzilla movies are always good for mindless entertainment. Definitely will watch.

I thought this was the first Godzilla movie. There are others?

Haven’t been to a theater in years, this prop ably won’t break my streak, can’t wait to watch it on a flight though

Yeah, I'm a sucker for giant monster movies too. Loved Saturday matinees as a kid in the 50's when the effects were pretty cheesy.
The new movies (other than Pacific Rim 2 ) are everything I wanted those old movies to be when I was a kid. Speaking of cheesy old Sci Fi movies, DISH has added the Comet Channel. Attached File In addition to movies, Comet carries Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, The Outer Limits and Babylon 5! https://www.comettv.com/ |

Yeah, but this isn't a sequel to Shin Godzilla (which was great), it's a sequel to the 2014 Gareth Edwards fuckshow that sucked balls and had a weird looking Godzilla. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

If it's 1/2 as good as Shin Godzilla I'll enjoy it. Will be too SJW femme/kid oriented. |

Just came back from seeing Shazam with my daughter. When the trailer for Godzilla came on we both looked at each other and nodded yes. I wasn't excited about it but after seeing the trailer on the big screen it's going to be awesome.

One of the joys of having a daughter age 10 in my 60s is that I get to share so many fun things from my youth with her.
Kaiju are one of them. When she was 6 I showed her a Mothra movie and that was it. She has been hooked even since. We have collected many monster figures and have virtually every movie on disk or recorded. She is now 10 and sooooo excited about the new movie. It has all her favorites with the exception of Orga. Seeing Mothra and The King flying in the new trailer gives me goosebumps. We are busy with Mortal Kombat 11 until the film's release date. MK is another of her (dads) obsessions :) |
