I had to make some changes to quit buying Gillette Products, but have held fast and haven't bought their products. Same with Dicks. I'm not a knife buy per se (Have a Spyderco Paramilitary II, a Ka Bar, and a Leek, but that's it), so their clusterf*&k didn't affect me.

Just checking in on how everyone else is doing.

Only thing Gillette I use is their deodorant.

That clear gel is the only thing I've found that doesn't break me out.

I'm an electric kinda guy, prefer Gerber and can't even remember the last time I stepped on a Dick.

Did you write those schmucks and give them your two cents about why you're not supporting them anymore?

I wont by Benchmade ever again. Never have bought anything from Dicks. The Gillette thing is, meh. When I find a good product, and I am looking, I'll switch. I tried Defender and they suck.

I was much too nervous to EDC my Bitchmade Barrage because I am so absent minded and I was afraid I would lose it. I started after Bitchmade was exposed. It does make an excellent box cutter.

I use electric shavers to do what I need done, never wanted a Benchmade and I think I've been in a Dick's store maybe twice in my life even before the fuckening so it's easy to stay away from them.

Edit - Shit, I forgot I use a heavy duty Gillette deodorant when it gets real hot out. No dice, I'm not giving that stuff up.

Braun Series 9 (think its the same parent company as Gillette but its already paid for as well as a few spare cartridges, not interested in giving it up), nope to Dicks or Benchmade, love my ZT -350

I swapped to Dorco. They work pretty good for shaving. Gillette was the best I had used. I will buy from them again.

My knives work, no need for new ones
Told my wife to shop shopping at Dicks AND her credit card got stolen and the thieves stole $1500 from Dicks.

So I'm better than 3/3 I'm probably 4/3

Bought a bunch of previous generation Fusion cheaply, right before the whole SJW thing.
Immediately planned to go back to Harry's, then Harry's set out to prove they were more SJW than Gillette.
Not sure what I'm going to do when last winter's stockpile runs out, but it won't be more of those two.

It's hard to say I'm boycotting Dick's when I don't believe I've ever set foot in one of their stores.
Same for Benchmade, I never planned on spending what they want for most of their knives anyway.

Used to have a gillette account where I would get their blades sent to me every month. Canceled it, used up whatever gillette shit I had left. Next time at the store, bought everything I needed and made sure it was not a P&G product.

Do not have Benchmade knives and I don't even know what the inside of a Dick looks like.

Still carrying my benchmade, using a Gillette razor although I am looking for alternatives, and Dicks was overpriced so I never shopped there.

What about Amazon, Xfinity, Google, Apple, the NFL and NASCAR?

Boycotting is fine but it would be much better if you wrote these companies a letter.

For 40+ years I used exclusively Gillette razors and Gillette foamy shaving cream. After that stupid SJW campaign I walked away.. I now use Barbasol and a 60's era Schick DE safety razor. I'm using Astra blades made by P&G in Russia, but a 2 year supply is $20.

You know you ran a crappy marketing campaign when loyal customers just quietly go away.
