When posting I like to end some sentences or whatnot with a series or periods , like 3 or 4 or whatever as an expression .  99% of the time the editor loses all of the periods , or sometimes just leaves one .  Once in a while it will leave them all .

Why I wonder ??? Is it something on my end I am doing wrong ???

Also just noticed that I was trying to add an emote and no matter what I did it randomly inserted it into the middle of the first line of the post - this was a new one .


As an example I initially typed 4 periods at the end of my first paragraph , 3 question marks at the end of the second paragraph and 4 periods at the end of my last paragraph .
And the HBR emote should be here > not in the first line .
Editing after the fact is unsuccessful .


Some insight or a fix would be appreciated .

Yes it is on an iPhone using safari .
Just never did this before - new in the past few weeks or maybe a little longer ?  

I'll try on the laptop and see if different results .
