It's realistic for those that like realism. It has some really good parts. I think it's deficient/could be better in some areas. Perhaps a hardcore sci-fi reader could say more. Is it complete garbage? No. Although the promotion for a free eBook download ended, it's still free if you have Kindle Unlimited. Check it out. It gets interesting once you make it to Chapter 4.
