I'm interested in hearing everyone's favorite bourbon and stick pairing.

I'm a pretty seasoned bourbon drinker, but I'm new to cigars.

Tonight I'm smoking a Montecristo Espada and drinking Blaum Bros. 10 yr OldFangled Knotter Bourbon Cask Strength. It's a decent pairing. Would put together again.

I don't do specific pairings per se, but I do have a roster of beverages that I generally enjoy with most cigars...

Off the top of my head, this is the current "roster:"

Macallan 18
JW Blue
Basil Hayden - just had this tonight with a Padron 1964 and Ashton ESG
Henry McKenna
Makers Mark
Tullemore Dew

Honestly, I prefer to pair a cigar with coffee. I also like a RASS and a Dr. Pepper too. Macallan and Balvenie would be my Scotch choices though.

I'm like dj in the fact that I like a cigar with a cup of coffee. I'm not much of a drinker though.

I am actually having mine with coffee at this very moment for the first time and wow. It changes the flavor of both for the better. I also agree with the Dr. Pepper. That is my go to drink as I rarely drink alcohol anymore.

Smoking a My Father Le Bigou 1922 for the first time. It's awesome. Goes really well with Knob Creek Small Batch 100 proof

I’m too new to really appreciate the nuance. But my local shop buys training rolls from my father. The nicuraguan filler in the sun grown wrapper is what I keep going to. And at $3 a stick I’m loving it. As for pairing? It goes just as well with a beer as it does with buffalo trace.

I like rye whiskey and cigars, seems to be the best. I also like a good bourbon also. Best of luck!

Other than Everything mentioned above I have found that Jacksonhole Sarsaparilla will go well with most cigars. Something about the root beerish taste that complements tobacco.

Arturo Fuente Hemingway and a CAN Of Coke.

Second pairing, same cigar, Weller SR Bourbon and some quality chocolate.

Bolivar Royal Corona with a Monster is next in line

I like my Cohiba's, Macanudo's, or an AVO with a glass of Dalmore Cigar Scotch on the rocks. My mouth is watering just thinking about it!

My fav is a Ramon Bueso with Evan Williams Honey. The best!!!! My second best is Dr. Pepper with a good rum

This also works well. I make favoring using port and also a Madera.

Pampero Anniversario dark rum
Caol Isla or Ardbeg Uigeadail scotch
George T. Stagg, Col E. H. Taylor or Knob Creek bourbon

Any rich, full bodied red wine, preferably with some tannin
Vintage Port of course.

Tonight it's Monkey Shoulder and an Avo uvezian classic. They work well together. I wish all cigars burned as well as this batch of Avo's have.
