I have had good luck with Sony, Samsung, orbtronic and LG 18650's. Always get high drain batteries. I only use tanks now with regulated devices. I always buy from a site like illumn.com to minimize the possibility of getting clone batteries.

LG HB6's, Samsung 25r's, and Sony VTC4's and 5A's. They all run well on mech's or regulated devices.

I've got a couple of the Sanyo NSX's in the rotation as well, but I don't go out of my way to buy them.

No reason to compromise on batteries, they're all cheap. I snag mine from imrbatteries.com

I have 3 pairs in constant rotation now for over a year. Brown wrapped LGs, green sonys, and a brick color red wrap,  Samsungs  I believe. They've all been rewrapped with clear wrap since so I cant say exactly which versions. I'm due to hit up illumn to rotate some new ones in.

There is no such thing as a 30A 3500mah 18650.

They are a 10A battery with a made up "pulse" discharge rate of 30A, which means nothing.

Stick with battery manufacturers, not rewrappers. LG, Samsung, Sony, Panasonic ect.

Been using Samsung 30Qs for awhile now. No complaints. Long lasting and reliable.
