I’ve done several of these for others, and sadly I now ask this for one of my own, it’s not easy, but at this point he needs all the help he and his family can get. A boy I basically raised since he was 5 as he was pretty much abandoned by his parents has had a major medical issue and is in need of funds (and prayers) to help get past this crisis. He suffered a brain hemorrhage while driving was in an accident and is back in ICU for the second time. No paycheck, wife and 5 kids, and workman’s comp is trying to deny any claim. At this time there is no idea if he’ll full recover, and if so when he’d be able to get back to work. Wife and I have done all we can, so now I come to ARFCOM hat in hand asking for help. If you’re so inclined any help would be great, if you can’t, understood, at least a prayer would be nice. Thank you all. Thanks to all of you that have donated or sent prayers!
He’s doing better and is at his home for now, it will be a long road to recovery but he is doing well. His motor control is improving, the biggest thing is his speech impairment that’s frustrating him. He knows what he wants to say, but there is still a disconnect between his thoughts and verbalization. I’ll be having him here at my house for the next week or so, with 5 kids at home it’s tough for him to have peace and quiet to relax and heal. Also, it’ll give his wife a break as right now she’s basically taking care of him as well as the kids. Like my wife said, I just want my boy back to normal. |
