So now there’s some level of NPC in F76. I had abandoned the game and basically forgotten how to play. Also forgot the constant dehydration and lots of other aspects of the game. Not sure how I even made it to level 15. But apparently that happened.
Still don’t like the game myself but maybe this will redeem it for someone else. Possibly. |

Decided I can't play fallout....got the chills everytime I got attacked by a zombie something or other....
Here's my mancard.... |

Still have no interest in it. Waiting for 5. Dunno where it'd be. Alaska maybe? I'd also like a return to the top down style at some point. Maybe a remastering of one and two with some extra side shit thrown in (like Kilaps restoration mod for 2).

Wastelanders should have been what 76 started off as. (Based off the YouTube videos I have seen) The biggest attraction to the Skyrim and Fallout series is the ability to mod. Once you take that away, from those that are used to that, people lose interest. |

Wastelanders is great. This is what it should have been from day 1.

So many things that were left unfinished just put me off. |

Anyone beat the dlc yet? I’m holding off because I want to do both sides as much as I can. Can you still do both sides daily quests after the main story is complete?

Based of FO:NV and FO4 I can only imagine there will be some limitation on what can be done based on either groups opinion of you. My brother told me last night that he lost his uber power armor while fast traveling.
Seems was an old bug that they had fixed with prior patches, but now back. I wonder how much 'old code' was used in making this DLC and they never bothered updating it with the fixes as it was being made. This isn't the first I have heard of old issues coming back either. (As per some folks on reddit) |

I picked it up again after the update.
It does feel a lot more like a Fallout game now that there are NPCs. |

Just run down the line spamming E to collect them all. Add two water purifiers, so there are always four purified waters waiting when you come home. I'm carrying 20 purified water at any given time, my problem is being lazy and annoyed at collecting dirty water to become boiled water, I wish I could set up a still to make boiled water continuously. For even more production, pick a camp site that is on a resource node so you can also mine it, I'm on a copper node so I can bulk copper and sell it. Decide if it's worth the 500-600 atoms for the collectotron robot to gather 10 scrap or junk at your camp. Whenever I see someone that is level 1-10, I give them a tricked out pipe or 10mm pistol and whatever ammo I can spare. Kharn |

Ive been trying to play for 3 days, keep getting a warning saying servers are down. I go to Bethesda server status page and the page says the servers are up. I've tried every fix available online.

I’ve noticed a lot of server crashes. Makes me wonder how it may be related to the private world service they’re selling.

I still feel bad picking on people two or three times my level, sometimes. Luckily I get rekt every once in a while.
The lesson to learn is don't trust a level 20 if you're in your workshop. F76 - Dirt Track PvP (Low Level) Couple more levels and I won't be stuck with trash gear, then it's off to pick on high level players who don't have their shit wired tight. |

Is there any guide on how to build a good character?
I am used to the stealth play through with long range weapons, not the power armor play through. I understand either to get the Gauss Rifle, or the repeater rifle (RIP Hunting rifle) for maximum damage. I guess I should be looking out for the Chinese stealth suit as well. But all the perks and shit throw me off sometimes. Starting from scratch. |

Are they viable end game characters? Dont want to get my ass kicked. Thanks for the link. Builds will be different for PvP than for most game content, I assume you're not after PvP stuff. Rifle characters are pretty over powered in general, so you'll be fine for endgame content. The versatility is the best part of a rifle build, since you can just up your DPS by swapping weapons and Commando perks. You'll end up with lower DPS, but higher per shot damage with Gauss, Lever, etc. If you want a nice middle ground you can use a semi-auto Handmade with the same build. Stealth is what makes them powerful, so make sure you maximize sneak attacks as much as possible. Covert Operative and Mister Sandman work extremely well with suppressed rifles, throw in Escape Artist and Sneak cards and you'll be fine. Gear selection is big, also. Instigating is a great weapon prefix for this type of build. Lighter armor helps with sneak. That's generalized, but there's also some meta builds like Junkies and Bloodied that will crank out high damage, but are pretty min-maxed. |

Using your link, I came up with that build Few questions, The science levels. For the gauss rifle, how many levels of science do I really need to build it and max out the mods? I know you mentioned mister sandman, is it really worth it as it only applies at night? Only one I maxed out was Perception. The build I am going for; Stealth using gauss and lever action with a side of shotgun. (For those oh shit moments) Once I get the Chinese suit, that's all I'll be using. No interest in power armor. |

76 sucks. I was excited to play it and got to the point I couldn’t even build a compound because it was so ridiculously difficult.
