1st handgun I bought, Colt 1873 from around the 30's. Sold it less than a yr later to get a S&W 629 .44 8 3/8 (yeah I knew Harry carried a 29, but this one popped up at a reasonable price). Yr later I sold it to help fund getting a Wildey .475mag 10" just like Bronson used in Death Wish 3. Really wish I would had just kept the 629. Hell now I wish I kept the 1873, but dumbass here sold it for a few hundred.

got a Walther PP because of Dr. No, but, you say Bond used a PP/K. Well maybe according to the script. They used the PP for the filming of Dr. No. But that isn't the pistol he used to make his first kill in the movie, you know the one with the silencer. Anyone know the one that was fitted for the silencer especially for the movie?

Oh, and then there's one of my favorite movies, Sgt. York, I got an O3 Springfield. Yeah he actually used a '17. But, I'm talking about the movie.

Then there's that movie about enemies at some gate or something.

Dirty Harry. My very first gun purchase was a S&W Model 29 6 1/2" barrel. A few years later and I traded it in toward the purchase of a brand new Colt Python. I traded that Python for a brand new Colt SP01 carbine. I traded that Colt carbine toward the purchase of a brand new FN FAL, and so on, and so on, and so on.

Speaking of... does anybody know what this is? Snapped a pic while watching a movie and never figured out what it was. BTW that is Tony Todd who is most famous for his role as The Candyman. The movie was some gangster crap.

And I also want a Kriss Vector. I love the way they look. Was pointing out the rental at the range to a friend and one of the employees said he hated it, it just felt awkward and unnatural. I still want to rent one and try it out though.

Not any specific movie but all those cowboy movies made me want a Winchester lever action and a stagecoach double barrel shotgun.

A plasma rifle in the 40 watt range...

I've spent enough time humping a rifle and/or crew served that I look at firearms the same way I look at hot girls.  No matter how good lookin she is, someone somewhere is tired of banging her.

How do you watch Tears of the Sun and it makes you buy a P226 instead of a Mark 23?

Between a G&A article I read about it and seeing this movie (due to poor parenting), 12 year old me lusted after this gun for months.

There are plenty I want but ever got.
I got some from movies but not because of them.
I got my first Berretta the year before lethal weapon. Now dontevenown one.
The only one specifically from a movie was an 1858 Remington with a cartridge conversion because of Pale Rider.
Maybe the long slide AMT hard baller from Terminator, but I never got the laser.

My best friends ( shooting team mates ) know that I am a pretty big Miami Vice fan, grew up watching it

So, my wife was really glad to see them presenting a wedding gift to us, in front of all the guests..it was a 4506 with spare mags...

On the topic, I blame 48Hrs for why I have a 4" S&W M29..

Of course.

One of the more oddball examples. (Eventually purchased one.)
