A foot just east of Elizabeth so far. I'm not going out to measure, maybe in the morning. The Humming birds are not happy.

Big heavy wet flakes coming down.  Crazy totals predicted.  Trees just got their leaves and are going to get crushed.
But dang we need the moisture, I hope it drops 2 ft in the mountains.

It's a very brief storm and won't last long. Look at the radar.

Were well over a foot now. Woke up to a big "whump" - one of our ponderosas snapped in half.

Yep. My first Summer in Steamboat years ago.June 15th was beautiful and warm. Woke up to six inches of snow the next morning..

Took the ex on a ten day tour of WY. We left a broiling Bama on Sept 1st. She thought i was BSing her about packing a puffy jacket, knit hat and gloves. She found out what i was talking about 45 minutes after cruising through an 85 degree Graybull..fat snow was starting to stick up in the Bighorns.

Looking at security cameras out front, lots of big limbs down off of trees.  I think my car is under one of them.
This is in Colorado Springs not the mountains.

We got 10-12” in north COS but the driveway/street is already almost melted fully from the ground/road temps.

Roads and sidewalks all clear here (COS near UCCS), trees still heavy and lawns/greenspace still covered in close to a foot. Still sorta snowing, but it's very light.

In between Denver and Ft Collins.
All melted off, sun was shining @ 0700.
If it would have stuck we probably would have had 4” or so- it melted as soon as it hit the ground, even when it was snowing hard last night.

Didn't take measurements before I left, but we got between 9 and 12 inches, light drifts. Maybe my pasture will survive.

I am guessing about six inches east of Colorado Springs.   I already used the snow blower.  Just finished breakfast and will clear off the deck/steps.

I have seen three branches broken from the snow.   A full assessment of about 250 trees will have to await snow melting.

Roughly 75% of the snow has melted.
