Guy that bought my old house did this. I kept in touch with my old neighbor and asked how they liked the new neighbor. The guy that bought my house was a VIA bus driver. Old neighbor told me the dumbass was cleaning his gun and BLAM, shot himself in the hand. No more bus driving for him...
Iirc he was kinda of a dumbass when he was buying the house... |

There are four simple rules. You can break one of them and probably get away with it. Break all four and you're probably going to have a bad day. I'll bet he won't do that again.
All guns are always loaded. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target. Be sure of your target and what is beyond it. |

Looks like he was showing the laser dot on his palm with his finger on the trigger.
I thought at first it was a 1911 and he was showing how it won't fire if you apply pressure to the front but then I noticed the fat ass slide. |

had a money game going on in small local pool/bar. Guy I knew was at the bar showing a worker his new .380. Bang. Hole in the bar. Looked up, no casualties, kept shooting pool. No pool cues or pool tables were injured during this incident.

I have told the following story to follow gun show lurkers arfcom members in the past I may have told this before.
Back in the day. Ban days. I would buy stuff from this little hole in the wall gun shop here in NE Ga. Shared a building with a car mechanics shop. So I am in there browsing which takes about 3 mins. MAX. Just go there not even 30 seconds. IN walks MR FUDD. YES NRA hat looks just like the picture meme here. He has a pump shotgun (870??) with a really long barrel. Duck gun. Didn't know what a duck gun was then I do now. Mr Fudd is standing around holding the down down beside him Horizontally hand around near basically the chamber, and ever where he looked the gun pointed. HE stood there me looking at him I looked down saw the gun pointed at my crotch and jumped back. Bumped into the 2 guys behind me. This place is small and tight. Well the guy there that day named Jim (Dead now and I miss Him) Said what ya got there ole timer. He said just a shot gun I want to sell. Well Jim asks is it loaded? Old FUDD looks all upset OF COURSE its not. Hands Jim the gun after pointing it right at him. Jim Says ok well let me check. Takes it points it muzzle up. Butt of the gun on his thigh and hits the release and racks it 3 times. YES three shells fall out. Chunk Thump, Chunk Thump, Chunk Thump. Jim is all  
I am all  and then exit the area.Other guys are laughing and then yelling at the old man about being too dumb to have a gun. |
