Or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying And Love The Chug

As usual, you should bring a rifle with two mags, a pistol with two mags, 72oz of factory carbonated non-boozy liquid to consume, event donation/personal burial money, a good attitude, cold weather gear, and an interesting rock for me to examine.

We're doing things a bit differently for signups. They're open now, and will run until Jan 15. You won't, however, be sure you have a slot until Jan 20. As a prelude to the wall of text below, please show up for the event, even if you don't have an assigned slot. We have traditionally managed to squeeze more people in, and the event is more than just your run.

There are fifteen slots for staff/host/sponsor, first come first serve. If you sign up for as Staff, you're expected to help out (duh) and to run the weekend PRIOR to the event, March 31-April 1. Everyone is welcome to help out (please, that's how we run these things), this is intended to get the core of the group ready to rock.  Any registrations after the first fifteen will be added to the lottery.

Ten slots for WEST TOP 10, to include Top 2 Night Vision and Top 2 Wimminz.  First come, first serve, from any West event to date. All registrations after the first ten will be added to the lottery.  If you don't have the appropriate privilege you will be moved to standby (skipping the random draw) as penalty for making us check.

Thirty slots for Cola Vets from any CW Event. These will be drawn randomly and guaranteed slots announced on Jan 20th. All other sign ups will be added to the standby roster.

Twenty slots for noobs, of which ten will be random draw. Five noob slots will be written essays on "Why I Want To Be A Cola Warrior," and five will be video essays on the same subject. Essays will be judged by current Cola Vets. If you don't make the cut on written or video essay, you will be added to the random draw anyhow. Written essay and video links can be submitted during signup. Be advised we will be posting the essays and videos for all to see, so please, nothing you wouldn't want your mother to see.

Standby will be in order of when the application was received.

Posting "IN" here is nice to let everyone know you're coming, but slots will be assigned based on actually using the provided module on the Cola Warrior website https://www.cola-warrior.com/events/cola-warrior-west/cww4/



Please send donations to https://www.paypal.me/CWWest . Traditionally, it takes about $75/per person to keep you hooligans fed, boozed, clothed, and put nifty patches out there. Send what you can, but we'll only be keeping track of the total, not who sent it. You can also donate in person at the event. We've got plans (if we have money) for nice things like food, booze, at least one event logo shirt, at least one event logo patch, and shitters. None of those things happen on their own. The only things that I already have covered are: obstacles, a god awful hill to climb, a range, and a vaguely flat area to sleep on.



OVERALL RULES:
Follow all firearms safety rules.
No handling firearms after drinking.
No airsoft at this event. Do not bring them.
No items of a sexual nature, there are kids around.
Must sign waiver before running course.
If you break any of these rules you will be banned from this and all future Cola Warriors.
The only hot range is the event course range. There is no provision for zeroing at any time. Show up with working gear, or borrow it.

COURSE RULES:
5 minute penalty for each failed obstacle.
Each obstacle must be attempted for at least 10 seconds.
5 minute penalty for each peep uneaten or spit out before chug.
5 minute penalty for each target left un-hit, one hit each steel target.
5 minute penalty for each Carbonated beverage unchugged.
10 minute total chug time allowed, everything left after will be penalized.
Six 12oz cans, three 24oz cans, or one 2liter with a 5oz chaser are the only allowed sizes.
If you vomit before finishing a 12oz can, no matter how much is left that can it is a 5 minute penalty.
If you vomit before finishing a 24oz can, no matter how much is left that can is a 10 minute penalty.
If you vomit before finishing 2liter it is a 30 min penalty
Night run only: 5 minute penalty for light ND, 10 minute penalty for prolonged use.  
No projectiles that attract a magnet will be allowed, no incendiary, no tracer. Please limit muzzle velocity to 3200 ft/s and total energy to 3500 ft/lbs, so that we don't fuck up a few thousand dollars worth of static and reactive steel targets.
All reactive targets must react to score, all falling targets must fall to score. Steel will be calibrated for factory 115gr 9x19mm and factory 55gr 5.56x45mm.

Ten minute limit on obstacles (combined), ten minute limit on shooting, ten minute limit on chug.

Five Obstacles
One AK
One Rail Peeps
One Half Mile
10-15 Pistol Targets at 12-100 yards
10-15 Rifle Targets at 100-500 yards
One hit each target. (2 mag rifle, 2 mag pistol limit)  
72oz carbonated beverage of your choice



And finally, no excuses. We don't care if you just had a boil lanced, a brain tumor installed or removed, voted liberal last election, need to walk your dog, or lost your homework. Show up and participate, don't make lame excuses.



PS: Cola Wars end on the 7th. 5th Annual MOA BYOB Machine Gun Shoot is at the same location on the 8th. This may be the last event held at this location, big changes afoot.
