Being raised by an MD and a marine biologist i always found the concept people getting upset at the act of feeding your infant when they’re hungry specifically in a public location, to be rather strange. I’m not disparaging those who hold that point of view, but it seems like a pretty insignificant thing to get upset about. I don’t know why the act of feeding their child, a biological necessity mind you, can upset someone unless they are unable to separate their view of the Breast as something for no other purpose than its sexual value, but that is only my theory.

In an incredible sexually driven society as we inhabit and the exposure to it that we all have, I find the aversion to seeing bare titties perplexing. But aside from all that how do you not get past the fact that it’s simply a function of nature?

It doesn't bother me but I do have to wonder, in all of the years of coming across random woman breastfeeding in public, I've NEVER, not even once, seen an actual attractive woman doing it.

It's like the topless woman protestors at Berkeley...it's always the ones you least want to see.

My wife was breastfeeding in public yesterday, so I guess it doesn't bother me. She also doesn't wip out the entire book to do it. She has nursing tanks and bras. Unless you were staring directly at her while she deployed the nipple, you would never see it. If you did see it, it would be for about a half second.

I am perfectly fine with it. I don't even care how discreet mom is. However, if mom doesn't use a cover she needs to understand people are going to look a little bit. If all they're doing is looking briefly and she gets butthurt, tough shit on her. But if she gets annoyed that someone is leering or being an ass, I'm going to be on her side.

The times I have seen it occur, the women have been trying to be discreet. Been flashed a few times accidentally as they try to juggle the baby and cover up. I don't look to give them privacy. Kid has to eat and it's not always convenient. Just be a gentleman about it.

Those that try to make a big deal out of doing are just seeking attention like a little kid doing something to get attention.

Public breastfeeding doesn't really bother me, there's plenty of other BS to get bent out of shape over, but I do think the women that go out of their way to put everything on full display are overboard.

My wife breast fed in public but would cover herself with a blanket while she did it. Either for herself or for people around her, I don't really know or care but I think it was probably the most respectful way to go about doing it.

Despite breast feeding being a biological necessity and complete natural, there are plenty of other things that fill that criteria that we prefer to do in private. OP want's to use shitting as an example, and cites public health, but that's kind of extreme. Nobody is saying the booths at McDonalds need to have shitters built into them, but pretty much every bathroom in America has stalls for privacy. Despite it being completely natural and biologically necessary, we want to do that in private, even in the appropriate place for it.

Don't care. Babies got to eat. It absolutely doesn't bother me at all, and when I do see - I don't stare like an incel creep who has never seen a tit before. 99% of the women who do it take proper precautions to cover up correctly. I bet most of the posters in this thread have been around a mother breast feeding in public and never knew it. My wife used to carry the baby in one of those slings, and would just feed it while she shopped, totally covered up. She has breast fed 4 kids, still has perky C cup tits.

For me, It screams attention whore at most places I see women doing this. It's almost as if they are BEGGING for you to say something so they have na excuse to argue and virtue signal you. Overall I don't care. But it's the mindset I believe a lot of these women have that pisses me off.
