and the 350, but even the 350 has a 37.6" seat height.

I'd love to find a DS bike with a lower seat.   I guess the Honda has about the lowest seat I've been able to find.

ETA:
https://powersports.honda.com/motorcycle/dual-sport/crf300ls     32.7" seat height

I had to lower my KTM 350 XCF-W down to 34".  Cost me close to $500.
New springs in the forks and spacers in the rear.  Then set up for my weight and abilities.  I don't do woops well past the third one.  Scares the shit out of me when we come up to a bunch of them while on Michigan single-track.  One fu... screw up and I'm wrapped up around a tree.

It would be really cool to see the auto-lowering technology that's on some ADV bikes migrate over to the enduro/dual-sport arena w/o robbing performance.

That looks like a blast!  If only there was a dealer within 100 miles and I was 40 years younger!  Currently have a CRF300L, much better bike than the 250L, but still pales to the CRF 250x.  Then again, I don't miss the high seat height and the oil changes.

Got a ride in between the rain. Great desert ride, ground had some grip and no dust.

After neglecting my DR650 for a few years I've been riding it again lately.  Today I got out and rode a bunch of gravel/dirt roads in the rural part of my county.  I managed to find the unimproved creek crossing I came across a long time when I first started riding.  Couldn't ride straight across, on the far side it dropped off to at least 2ft deep. I was able to skirt the edge to the left and cross downstream a bit.

I probably rode for about three hours, my ass feels bruised now.  Worst seat ever. I finally decided to upgrade the seat to one from ProCycle.

Braaap! Nice bike, rode my buddy's last month out here in some trials-grade rocks, and it was like a scalpel. Really want one now.

It's a great ride. Heading out now to put the rim stickers on, and make some suspension adjustments.

It will look even better after I put the rim stickers on this afternoon.

It's the 300 race edition. Dual spark plug head, KYB suspension, pre mix, no oil injection. Runs awesome.

Been riding a trials bike for well over 20 years but today was my first time riding in a trials event, had a blast.

Approaching level High Pimp. I think these also usually come with KYB stickers for the fork uppers. They weren't with the stuff the dealer gave me. I need them to reach High Pimp.

Awesome. Having a good time is what it's all about. Other than that, how did you do?

Went to a local gravel pit turned riding area this weekend. Had a lot of rain so it was muddier than I would have liked.

This was my second outing on the bike.

Coming from 20 years of atv and road bikes, I’m still adapting to riding this thing. I know I do not like riding in sand
