I just drove out of D.C. There are definitely heavy machine guns mounted on those vehicles guarding the bridges, on the boats patrolling the Potomac too.
This is WAAAY more firepower on display in D.C. than I saw in the days after 9/11. |

Been in dc past few days, talked to a few NG and CG. Boats are rocking M240 and m249 asked one of the CG boats if he was “loaded” when he wanted to check out my fishing gear. He smiled and lifted up the receiver plate and I saw beltfed .mil.

LOL like any patriots would be storming DC. The whole point of the 6th was for them to hear the people. This response shows they heard the people. But no revolution is going to happen in DC, at least not at scale.
